For example: Joining the sith you raid planets killing and hunting people and attack rebel bases where as joining the jedi you defend planets from sith attacks and attack star destroyers

@@LGinux Same. I always enjoy making my Jedi look like Sith in Star Wars games lol. The lack of meaningful things to find is why this game will only ever be good to me and not great. For a game so focused on exploration and finding secrets to have nothing much to find is a HUGE misstep in my opinion. They blame canon but there are plenty of excuses to put interesting items in the game because we spend most of the game investigating Jedi ruins, Imperial bases, and the ruins of lost civilizations. Seems like the perfect excuse to put stuff like Jedi robes, the Inquisitor uniform, unusual saber styles, and etc. In games like this the stuff you find should either increase your power (Skill points, force upgrades, health upgrades, or force powers) or be unique cosmetics like Jedi/Sith robes, unique lightsaber hilts, lightsaber crystals, Imperial uniforms, and etc. What we got instead was a bunch of unimpressive color stripes.

@@Woodlin94 That would have at least been better but, dude, every planet we went to had Jedi activity on it. Not only that but after Order 66 maybe some items were left or lost as Jedi were killed? More than enough excuses to put interesting collectibles around imo. Most importantly, its a fucking game! Let it be a game! This is the same thing that happened with Red Dead 2. They were so busy making sure everything was realistic and made perfect sense that they often forgot to make things fun. Finding a thousand poncho color stripes wasn't fun and didn't make sense either as I didn't see a single god damn person wearing a poncho in the entire game lol.

100% agree. I think this game does a lot of things well but the way they reward exploration is absolutely dreadful. Who cares about a damn ship cosmetic? Give us lightsaber colors (have them scattered and hidden around the world) atleast. I hated that you literally unlocked every single color right by the end of the game, you barely even get to use them! And of course the red saber doesnt exist because ''muh canon''. Yet it actually is in the game (Cal uses it in his nightmare), like, cmon man. This game takes a lot of inspiration from the Dark Souls games, and it copies many aspects very well. But the one thing the devs didn't give a rats ass about was the exploration rewards. It would be so cool if we found some unique combat ability, literally anything apart from a damn poncho. Even different lightsaber colors would do just fine for me. In Dark Souls you found cool outfits hidden, cool abilites/weapons/spells hidden and at times even HUGE areas that you could've easily missed if you weren't paying attention. JFO could've done so much more here. Also, remember Star Wars the Force Unleashed? In that game you had to find and unlock the lightsaber colors on your own. That alone made the game worth replaying. All in all, I think the game is good. It's definitely the best star wars game in YEARS. However, in some aspects it feels a bit rushed, and it definitely does suffer from some technical issues imo (on regular PS4: Low FPS at times, assets popping up in front of my eyes and of course the game pausing cause everything hasnt loaded in yet). And my biggest gripe in terms of gameplay is how worthless it is to find each collectible. Oh and btw, where the fuck is the New Game + system?

Red is not a crystal, there is no red crystal. The sith use red because they cant go to Illum and so they use a synthetic which is always red.

Christopher S they actually don’t use synthetic ones. Officially there are no synthetic kyber crystals in Star Wars. The only way a sith can get one is by stealing or defeating a Jedi and taking the crystal and bending it to there will. This allows the crystal to be then be attuned to the sith but in the process it literally makes the crystal bleed therefore staining the crystal red.

I went with indigo. Out of all the colors it was one of two that could only be unique to him in canon. The other being magenta. Seeing as his masters and his lightsabers where originally blue, it seemed like the natural progression. You're both wrong. The artificial crystals in the Sith Lightsabers are Legends and so are natural red crystals. In the new cannon a Kyber Crystal has no color until it becomes attuned to a Force wielder. Then the Crystal will most likely turn either green or blue. Purple and yellow colors can also be obtained this way but are very rare. A red Kyber Crystal is obtained by corrupting a Kyber Crystal previously attuned to a wielder of the Light Side through a process called bleeding. The "bleeding" is what turns a Kyber Crystal red.

Okay, I can accept them not dropping a bunch of random color crystals across the worlds, but couldn’t they at least have let you get them earlier in the story? Maybe make Ilum a planet you can visit early on, and as you unlock new abilities and explore the planet, you find more color crystals

I started with blue, green, and yellow. Addendum- Thanks for the like my friend. I missed this game when it released. I am very leery about picking up EA titles. However, this past year (the end) was so...I guess, has had a very weak line up. Too many missed dates and with the nect generation looming it's almost as if Microsoft and Sony have begun dropping these machines. We should be truly seeing what the Xbox One X and PSPRO's can do. Unfortunately, at least right now, it seems as if that will not be happening. At any rate, I didn't know what games to get for my birthday and my fiancee really wanted to get me well...a couple. I had her grab this for me and I'm very happy with it. Currently, I was just caught by the bounty hunter and I haven't had the chance to break out yet (just to let you know where I am). I don't know why I had the yellow saber at the very beginning of the game. It says it's premium but I did not buy the special edition nor did I pre-order it. I don't know, I was curious what you think of this...
