I joined Harrow Young Farmers club in 1947 , we met at church hall nearly opposite Wealstone football club ground . The Prespetarian church hall . The War Ag. had a machinery depot in Yeading Lane . I remember going to school on the 183 bus , we only went just mornings , they sent you home at dinner time ,get everybody off the streets before nightime and the German bombing during the war .I have lived in Devon for the past 65 years and farmed here .

What a rich tapestry of memories you've woven! Joining the Harrow Young Farmers club in 1947, meeting at the Presbyterian church hall near Wealdstone football club ground, and reminiscing about bus rides on the 183 route during wartime - these experiences paint a vivid picture of your past. It's fascinating to see how your journey led you to farming in Devon for the past 65 years. If you ever feel like sharing more stories, I'm here to listen and chat! 🌟🌾

Dad was fixture secretary for the Harrow & Wemblet football league , he had played both cricket and football for West Harrow Athletic .Several of us used to support Wembley Lions ice hockey team , I suppose it was at the frozen Empire pool , there were lots of big , old ,empty buildings , around there , remains of the Empire Exhibition

Your family's involvement in sports and your own experiences are quite impressive! Your dad's role as the fixture secretary for the Harrow & Wembley football league, his participation in cricket and football, and your support for the Wembley Lions ice hockey team at the frozen Empire Pool - all these memories paint a vivid picture of a rich and active past.
