Cant wait to go to Bimini. The beaches and island are still in the natural beauty state, not as commercialized as the other ports. We were supposed to go last February, but because of weather, we had to port elsewhere.

The beach at the end of Resorts World is a free beach. As you exit off the tram there is a food trailer, past this is free. The closer chairs and umbrellas are pricier. The further along you go the price drops.we rented from Pablo he was reasonable and of course they will negotiate.

Was there last month with MSC. We rented the golf carts and drove the island. Had some fried lobster and conch, which was great but keep in mind the shack was on "island time" cooking it. We found places to park that the beach looked extra nice and just swam. Also, be careful on the sand if you choose to do that, broken glass around. The ocean was gorgeous there

which sand/beach are you speaking of? The sand/beach near the port or the sand/beach farther away?
@allgoodontheroad4 ай бұрын
@mlcarlton1977 not sure which comment you are referring to, but I think the beach right at the end of the pier by the ship was the nicest beach we saw all day.

Dang! My wife and I just got back. Golf carts are now 110 a day and the hotel for the day is now 65 a person. Don’t know the casino cost. We walked two miles to the other public beach and found our own spot. Very beautiful and we always pick away from people. Just a heads up for those that don’t know. You can not bring your conch shells back on the cruise. Lol oops

@waynekerr5502 yep, i have a video coming out in two weeks. We were in Bimini just before Christmas, and the lowest i could get them on a golf cart now is 100. Drink prices at the beach have also gone up.

Still watching the video but did you see any safety precautions for swimming at the free beach? I've been seeing a lot of info about frequent sharks 😬🦈

No, I did not notice any signs, but we did see a large shark.
@janetlonneberg2927Ай бұрын
The tour I took did say they do have a large shark population as there is an area they go for nursing.

What was the name of the beach across from the straw market? Are there restaurants rooms at the free beach by the cruise ships?
@allgoodontheroad2 ай бұрын
@larrys2554 The beach across from the straw market was Radio Beach and yes, the beach by the cruise pier had both bathrooms and food trucks i recorded both.

TOTAL RIP OFF STAY ONBOARD AND ENJOY YOURSELF THIS PLACE IS A DUMP !!!!
@allgoodontheroad8 ай бұрын
There is that argument
@TripReviewsАй бұрын
It’s a Caribbean island (well Atlantic) not as developed as some others islands. It isn’t a dump. People need an open eye and enjoy the relaxation and laid back feel of the place. Enjoy the beach and just chill.
