So nice to hear this piece of music. I haven't listened to All About Eve for sometime I confess! And yet as soon as I heard the first few lines and Julianne's haunting voice I was as ever hooked. I have followed All About Eve ever since they first made me captive to their musical charms in 1987- after I had listened to Julianne and the band performing "What Kind of Fool" on Top of the Pops. The band were so good... I remember one gig they did in Sheffield on their accoustic tour with Andy, Marty and Julieanne and on that night they had everyone spellbound in the small and intimate club setting The Boardwalk where they were playing in Sheffield. Marty was fantastic on guitar and Andy was as ever the talented one with Julieanne just divine! That night stands out in my memory as being perhaps the best gig I have ever attended- just wish they had never split but at least we have the memories... MANY THANKS FOR POSTING THIS!

Wow! I thought I had collected every song these people had ever made. Somehow I missed this one. My second favorite band/musician of all time (were my favorite until I found The Gathering/Anneke van Giersbergen). Thank you very much for this post.

One I haven't herd ,almost both styles and guitar sounds together.to much to ask to here both lead guitarists playing together. I aways thought there was room for more instruments on stage . Love them regardless.

Can't understand why this song was only a b side, its far better than many of the other songs on TBJ.

Many of the original songs that All About Eve deemed only to be good enough for 'B' sides, would probably be regarded by many modern bands as great album tracks. (particularly as we seem to be in an era where good song writing appears to be declining as many bands choose to do covers, or rely on their old songs for live performances, as that appears to be what audiences demand).

Thank you very much for posting and sharing this! I haven't heard this for about 15 years (since I last played it off my 12" which is now in mothballs somewhere and when I actually had a turn-table!) Much appreciated. Does the poster or any of the obvious AAE aficionados here know if there are any on-line versions of the AAE B sides "Nothing without you" or "Silver song"..? Any information gratefully received - and thank you.
