I would say to get cheap lashes off of Amazon (around 5-10 bucks) to practice with. Once you're comfortable then move on to the more high end stuff ($15+). This way you don't feel like you're wasting your expensive lashes.

If you go on amazon you can purchase the beginner lashing kits they sell and it comes with eveuthing you need to practice even the mannequin which for me it helped me out a ton!! Once i started practicing on people i purchased a good glue and some lashes a primer some good tweezers and i wouldnt charge because i was practicing i would just say if they wanted to give me a donation for the services i provided it would help me out with purchasing new products or lashes so just an idea.. i hope this answered your question because in the beginning i was stuck wondering the same thing good luck ladies!!♡

Welcome love, I hope you stay a while 😘 If you are struggling I definitely suggest giving premades a try so you can offer hybrid/ volume. But don’t just rely on them and practice making your own fans as often as you can 🤍

I use borboleta og lashes and they are faux mink. I don’t believe there is a right or wrong answer, it’s really going to come down to preference and what works best for you as the lash artist & what your clients like (:
