Just loved how you want us all to feel great while wearing your wigs. This tutorial is fantastic. I have many wigs and love them all. It’s always hard in the beginning to adjust wearing a wig for the first time because you feel everyone is looking at you but after awhile you become confident and for me I don’t mind telling people I am wearing a wig. And they say they couldn’t tell. Where do we get the scissors that you are using? I need those. Thanks again Ro we love you.

Talk about a tour de force! The entire ins and outs of my personal favorite wig. I have three Freedoms so far and you'd never know it was the same wig because each one got the "Frankensteining" treatment that makes each one completely different from the other two. I love this video it's full of important information and I confess that even as a Godiva veteran, I learned a lot! One thing--when I'm working on one of my wigs I use T pins to keep the wig from sliding around the wig head.. Thanks, Ro. It was a bunch of fun!

Great video Rochelle. I have 2 freedoms and on each one I have only trimmed the bangs a bit. I might have to make one of them smaller at the crown of my head. Wow! Thank you for this outstanding video, Ro! I have two Freedoms, Silver Stone and Frosted Taupe. I didn't like the back (too many long wispy hairs for my personal preference) so I tried cutting them off and ended up butchering my Silver Stone Freedom. My Frosted Taupe Freedom looks only a tad better after my trimming attempt but both of my Freedoms have been sitting, unworn, in my wig drawer for at least three years. Wish I had seen this video before I went a little crazy with my scissors and thinning shears! Please do more videos like this one. Watching you alter your wigs is fascinating. I'd love to see you use the cutting technique where you cut and slice down on the hair. You did this on the top of your Freedom wig but I couldn't see what you were doing since it was above the camera's view point. Thanks again, Ro!

Greetings from South Carolina! Thank you for the tips, I have been looking at my Sheila and Courtney wigs and noticed they don't style the same, now I'm going to spritz them and part them on the other side. I get stuck in a style and every day I expect the same and rarely divert from that. It's time to get out of the box and get a little frisky with the style. I'm planning on ordering Meg soon, I saw you playing with the style and I really like that slightly messy look, which is why I like Courtney, she's a friskier version of Sheila. I can hardly wait.

Great video. I have several freedoms, a Katie and a Sasha. I tend to use the hairspray on the longer ones because the weight of the length make the stye move around. Anyway, not sure the proper way to handle her the next day after spray. Does it hurt it to brush it , does it need to be washed out or spritzed? TIA
@GodivasSecretWigs3 ай бұрын
Just always brush your longer wigs from the bottom up. You needn't use much hair spray since you want the wig to move and look/feel natural and not perfect. If you are using our hair spray everyday, I might wash every 8 to 10 wearings...It's more how it feels and if there is a not pretty scent on the inside of the cap. oxo Ro

Ro, do you ever wear wig grips? I wear my wig to work for 8 hours. I have always been afraid of my wig moving, so I’ve worn wig grips. For some reason they are starting to chafe at the bottom of my hairline (not your wig grip) Have you heard of this happening? Your grips are softer, maybe it’s the grip? BTW, love my Aria. Dear Marian, I never wear anything to secure my wigs except for long wigs - I'll add metal wig clips. My head and hair are plenty of security. Can you try bobby pins or wig clips to see how it goes? You could always take the grip with you and head to a restroom to put it on if needed. If you join our Facebook Group you could ask the question to 1000's of members and see if they have some thoughts about it. xoox Ro

I wanted to see how you cut at the top in back and the camera didn’t catch it.

Great pointers to cut up on the diagonal. Straight across looks so fakey.
