I don't live in Kota but I tried a couple times too until I got to know that I can become an Astrophysicist through exams other than JEE. Sure, JEE would have saved me the hassle of learning biology as well (I didn't qualify mains this year and don't want to take a drop), but I'm still going to have to learn it either way in BSC course so there's that
