Julep is a great company. I’ve been a part of their nail box subscription (where they started) for about 5 years. I love their bare face cleanser and their night shift sleeping facial as well. I probably have around 250 different julep polishes! Plus I used to live in Washington and would visit their salon in Seattle often. They are such a great company. I have 0 negative things to say about them or their products!

yes!!! the facial milk is great for my dry dry skin! julep has always had great customer service as well. i moved recently and forgot to change my julep address and emailed them and asked if there was anyway to reroute it and they ended up sending me a whole new box even though the other one was still going to my old address! I've never been more in love with a brand!

I have a julep brow gel and giiirrrlll... I love it so much. It makes your hairs look thicker and separates the hairs nicely. Also the applicator is perfect. It’s so thin I feel like I get a better view of my brows.

I subscribe to the julep maven subscription box, which is a great deal! They have fantastic nail polish in every shade and finish you could possibly ever want. I love the duochromes! The powder blush is very good and I also love the eyeliners. They are a gel type formula that glides on effortlessly and sets to a pretty bulletproof finish. There are more shades, including some bright colors. The cleansing oil and “all your skin needs“ hydrating serum are also fantastic!

I feel like i can never get all my mascara off, my face has suddenly become dry after 46 years of being oily, and I feel like I add to lines around my eyes with make up wipes. I bought a Julep lip mouse in "Pillow Talk" half price at Ulta several yrs ago, so it's always been my fave out of all the formulas I've tried (along with the Loreal Matte Gloss). When I'm in a terrible hurry, I love that I can put the unique applicator tip between my lips to coat BOTH lips at the SAME time! Def love the whole brand testing videos because I find them easier for me to remember which product to shop for. Thanks Emily. :))

I have their beauty box so I've had a chance to try their eyeliners for quite some time. They are super creamy and stay tat way for a very long time. I prefer these over the Marc jacobs liners especially because I get them at a great price with my box. The powder shadows are also very nice. They have some small type of palettes on their site FYI.

I had Julep's subscription box for 3 months and I did really enjoy most of the products, both makeup and nails. I had to stop it because they are masters are the upsell, and I was picking up so many add-ons every month it wasn't financially responsible to keep the subscription going. However, I do have a ton of nice nail polishes now so I don't regret signing up at all. I actually liked the lip mousses the least out of everything I tried. The consistency was just weird for me and I didn't enjoy having it on my lips. The applicator was awesome though! I wish every liquid lip product used that interestingly shaped doe-foot because it made putting on the product so easy. I do enjoy their lip oils. At first I was on the fence because the treatment oils are really thin and take a while to absorb, but it's grown on me :)

ive been using julep for years! im so glad you got to experience it! i discovered the nail polish first, because i was looking for healthier kinds. they have been rolling out more and more makeup, my favorites are the gel liners, the powder shadows, and light on your lipsticks! they do have bigger pallets but usually only during holidays i believe. they change their stock all the time, and also have a subscription box where you can choose from all their lines...with a different focus each month.

I love Julep! I went to a julep event at my local Ulta and they use the 5 in 1 cushion pen for foundation and highlight and contour. I have not had a bad experience with any of their products. I am on my 3rd bottle of their gel sunscreen and I LOVE it. Their lip crayon is amazing, Their exfoliating sponges and double cleanse oil, face oils, etc...all incredible in my opinion. I was glad to see you do a video on the brand Julep! About 5 years ago I was subscribed to their monthly sub box for a short time, and in that time I received a powder blush from them that I love, as well as a cuticle serum pen that is simply a miracle worker and magical! Sephora used to carry the pen and no longer do, but I am def going to stalk their website to reorder a few more of those and perhaps try out some of your suggestions in addition. They are a brand that you don't hear too much about but they have some promising products within their line for sure! Their nail polishes are soooooo nice as well, as that's their main focus. I love how dedicated you are to giving products a good amount of time before you give a review. You're like a make-up industry, investigative reporter, and you are great at it! I've been getting the julep maven box subscription for a while, but I'm going to be taking a break. I think I have all the best of their products already, I'm not super happy with a bunch of their formulas, and I'm not into nail products (which is really their main thing). The subscription is interesting since you get a chance to completely change what products you get in your box. The bronzer is GREAT for beginners, such as myself, and I use it for contour since I have no idea what I'm doing there either and I have gotten so many compliments by co-workers and customers at work. The crayons are great the day after wearing a drying liquid lip. Very nice to wear. Their fan brush was super disappointing to me, its super thick and floofy, and I was expecting a fine, thin highlighting brush. And as you saw with the brow product, some packaging sells the product more than the formula itself. And Question...I never use eyeliner, but I had one of Julep's gel eye liners and I used it on my lower water line....how do you get that off?! HA! I had that blue liner on for a couple days before I got all the traces off! lol.

Hi Emily, thanks for the check-in at the end and thorough review of these items. I decided to check out Julep this year too. I love my Lorac alter ego lipglosses (haven't tried Anastasia's yet) but when I tried the ultra hydrating from Julep I thought wow I found a new fav! I've ordered the highlighter in sheer glow, the eyeliners, & the nail polish next to try. After seeing this I'm definitely interested in those lip balms and eyeshadows too. Since you're a Milani fan like me I wanted to ask if u would review the newest collection. I bought the stellar lights lip gloss & they are fabulous but now they have these new ones called hypnotic lights, both have "holographic" in the name so I'm a bit confused. I'm trying the highlighters next but I wanted to put Milani back on your radar to let u know they have quite a bit of new items out and some are at ulta, some are on their website only. I'd really like to see you're take on a bunch of Kiko Milano stuff. I think it's a very hit or miss brand, but I really like some of the stuff they have. Their eyeshadow sticks are super long wearing and some have a very pretty fine glitter to them (nº05 is my favourite one, it's like a taupe with intense shimmer, it looks beautiful all over the lid). I also like their mascaras, especially the volume eyes+ one and the extra sculpt volume. The lipsticks are awesome too especially the Gossamer Emotion Creamy and the Velvet Passion Mattes

Emily, I so enjoyed this video! I have one of the Julep lip balms, a nail polish or two, and have used their cleansing oil (amazing) along with their konjac sponge for about a year now. I saw Oprah rave about the lip products but haven't really explored the brand further up to this point. This comes at a great time. Julep does make some really good products. They have some fantastic nail conditioners and toppers. The brow gel is actually my favorite brow gel I have ever used. I think it is definitely worth the price. I also love the eyeliners. I have tried some of the skin care and what I have tried is really nice. Julep is also available through QVC and pricing in sets is pretty good there. They also have a subscription box available on the Julep website where you become a Julep Maven and you have the ability to pick and choice between makeup, skin care, and nail items. It's not the cheapest box out there but you get to pick, get full sized actual items sold separately and you also get to purchase add on's at a reduced price. Jules makes the best lip gloss. I have the Julep monthly subscription box and I LOVE most all that they have sent me. I also love the lotion and I really like the nail polish.
