Yes! I had the same deep internal response. Phd, C. P. E. (1995). Women who run with the wolves: Myths and stories of the wild woman archetype. Ballantine Books. Women who run with the Wolves, Clarissa Pinkola Estés! I hail from women who are women wild inside and outside because they are so deeply connected to the earth. As a Priestess observing, I can say.... I will be reaching out to the team re: this segment .... It is not that this presentation is wrong. Lilith reminds us to not replicate settler colonial systems in our language and find appropriate devotees with deep knowledge to speak to her appropriately. The first question is. Interesting read: The Alphabet vs the Goddess. It proposes that codified religions, or religions based on the written word, are directly responsible for the rise of the patriarchy. Given that the three religions discussed are profoundly influential, the written word has arguably changed how we think. Thank you for giving Lilith air time.

The action to exile oneself, is so reminiscent of an Oshun pataki where she goes to the moon and leaves earth because the rest of the orisha did not appreciate and value her. Everything failed without Yeye Oshun and while she impregnated herself and indulged in what we would recognize as self care... they had to beg her to return..

Wow this has given me soo much insight into my 'personhood'. When I was 24 I painted a self portrait that I felt like I was in a trance when I created it. I was conflicted with the final image, I both loved it and was scared to death of it. It was like I had birthed my soul. I had just become a new mom the year before. I framed this picture, pondered it, shared it, analyzed it for friends, was embarassed of it and was very proud of it, it scared my kids and I stored it away for years, then reframed it! Now I just named it- My Lilith. I just discovered, if I am correct, that my Lilith is conjunct (almost, @4 degrees cancer) with my Gemini sun 28 and venus 27 in my 3rd house. I am now 64 years old. This is kind of tripping me out because I’m seeing more literal themes the way this is playing out in my career choice. So Lilith is conjunct my south node in Taurus in the 8th, and Uranus conjunct the north node in Scorpio in the 2nd. Literally I’m on track to be a regenerative agriculture consultant, dealing with the soil life that agriculture has classically taken for granted… and life at this level is about discarded lives (dead biomatter, compost) becoming life again cyclically. There is no life without death, but I digress… my career focus is bringing unseen, microscopic wildlife back to the soil, integrating it back it into our agricultural systems, along with promoting conservation easements for wildlife. It’s oddly literal for me

Thank you so much for taking us to these places. Another way I have been moved by Lilith is in synastry. Checking mine with a longterm ex who switched from very sweet and consistent behaviour to something kind of off-the-rails before eventually ghosting, I found his Black Moon Lilith was conjunct my south node in my 10th house, and an activating transit matched the sudden unravelling and destruction of our relationship. I think men’s relationship with anima could be an interesting part of the Black Moon Lilith story. And btw, that synastry might have been using mean points, but I think it doesn’t matter as the astrology takes us to what we need to see in that moment. The message came through and the divination was alive. As you said, a liminal place. Shimmering and 3 dimensional.

This was amazing - thank you! I listened and then did a Lilith meditation before bed. I had insane dreams. I'd say a nightmare really (as I was so relieved when I woke up). In the dream, my bedroom was ransacked and my phone and laptop stolen (cut off from connecting with anyone) and came to find out a woman had entered my house through a passage under the floor. I saw her and she said she had to do it (she blamed me) and I was SO angry. There's more to the dream but just had to share how she showed up after evoking her! Wild! BML is conjunct my AC. And so much of what you shared feels resonant.

Thank you. It was curious that someone in a Human Design and Gene Keys group mentioned about Lilith. I was curious as it’s in my conscious sun gate 10 and life’s work in the gene keys as a role model/ teacher. I’ve realised that I have a very destructive side of me which I attribute to my ability to create. I have always felt like an outsider, different. I’m not someone you can easily cut into a box. I hate being constrained. I’m also aHuman Design Reflector and feel I’ve spent my life being mostly in a liminal space, not stopping to land before I’m off again. Thanks to you all. I kinda love this expose on Lilith and Black Moon Lilith Energy. 🖤 My Pallas Athena conjuncts my Lilith in Pisces ♓️ in the 6th. I Feel these ladies strongly in my life, my persona, and my chart. I was born under a dark moon in Cancer ♋️ prior to a Leo New Moon, under a Leo Sun ♌️ in the 10th. I am in awe of my own shadow, its texture, its purity in its own depth. TYSM for this exploration… )🙏🙏🙏 I found my True BMLilith contacts in the unexpected places…. She’s in Gemini (5H) and 00’00 EXACTLY PARALLEL my Cancer Moon (5H)…. She is also in the otherwise tightest aspect of my chart, a septile (irrational 7) with my Uranus in Libra (8H) at just 3mins orb… super tight! These indicators always come in threes, I have yet to find the third, but suffice to say, finding the two main contacts to True Black Moon Lilith in my chart were both ‘mic-drop’ moments for me, because once I’d started exploring her significance in the chart I recognised her influence in my life: ‘seductress’ yes, ‘baby-killer’ yes … both from a deep mother (abandonment) wound - looking for love in all the wrong places using my erotic ‘power’ and then a deep lack of self-love not trusting myself to bring a child into the world... If you go back further in time, you can trace many gods, goddesses, and Greek mythology archetypes back to African Traditional Religions (ATR's). The Nigerian Yoruba orisha Oya and Black Lilith represent similarly powerful feminine archetypes. Oya is a deity in the Nigerian Yoruba religion, associated with winds, storms, and change. She is often seen as a warrior, a protector, and a goddess of the marketplace (primarily run by entrepreneurial women), cemeteries, and the dead. Oya embodies transformation, strength, and the complexities of life and death, often depicted with a fierce demeanor. Today, Oya remains a MAJOR orisha that is recognized and honored throughout African Traditional Religions and practices in West Africa, Brazil, and the Caribbean.

I feel my Lilith 28 degrees Capricorn opposite my Cancer Sun 28 degrees squaring my Aries rising with Chiron 24 degrees opposite Uranus in Libra 24 degrees. I've connected how the Triple Goddess which is connected to the moon and its phases is related to the signs Taurus (exaltation), Cancer (domicile), and Scorpio (debilitation). I think an interesting thing to note is in vedic astrology these signs correspond to certain lunar mansions (nakshatras) namely Rohini (Taurus), Pushya (Cancer), and Jyeshta (Scorpio). If one looks up the symbolisms and stories of each nakshatra you can see how it all relates to the concept of The Maiden, The Mother, and The Crone. I'd like to point out The Crone specifically or Jyeshta which also means the eldest. If we are to discern this archetype, it is seems that it is very similar to the Lilith story wherein people with this placement, especially women, are villainized for having power or exercising their will. Jyeshta's shakti is the power to rise, conquer and gain courage in battle. Jyeshta is also called Alakshmi, the sister and opposite of Lakshmi who is the goddess of fortune and auspisciousness. Alakshmi is the goddess of misfortune and grief. But going back to Jyeshta, in vedic astrology the 27 lunar mansions are also the 27 wives of the moon god Soma, and Rohini is the favorite wife (Eve) while Jyeshta is the eldest wife (Lilith). To add to this, I think the story of Lilith is simply the idea of a woman sacrificing comfort (Garden of Eden) in exchange for her evolution and self-attained power (exile). It's why she's connected to barren lands and all manner of strife and difficulty, because a woman's true power is not in her only being able to submit to others, or create for other people's nourishment, but also to destroy and conquer those who seek to harm and control her. This is the price Lilith paid, for a woman's full realization of her true worth, wisdom, and power. ++ I'm going to be honest I'm not yet done watching the video but I got to the part where you mentioned an amulet that is used to ward off Lilith and Jyeshta's symbol is also an amulet. The connection is amazing.

The film Insignificance (1985) by Nicolas Roeg portrays Marilyn as an intellectual who is star struck as she meets Albert Einstein and discusses his theory of relativity with him. The scene where Marilyn uses toys to demonstrate the theory of relativity is incredibly fun and on its own makes the movie worth a watch.
