All About Loungefly Disney Pins

This video is all about Loungefly Disney pins! Loungefly pins are officially licensed Disney pins (Loungefly also makes pins with other licenses). You can find a lot of Loungefly pins at Box Lunch or Hot Topic. These pins are generally not the best quality, but they have some interesting designs. Loungefly also make a lot of pin blind boxes. These mystery pins only have 1 pin per box, they're not my favorite but a lot of people seem to like them. Retailers like Kraken Trade also have exclusive limited edition Lounefly pins, these are definitely nicer quality. My favorite type of Loungefly pins are the large, limited edition pins they release directly on Loungefly.com!

Thank you for this video! I feel like I used to be a lot more critical of loungefly pins, but have come around to them/appreciate them a lot more...For one, now that so many Disney stores are closing, Loungefly pins at Boxlunch/Hot Topic are gonna be my only chance to get authentic Disney pins in person at my local mall. And I do think the quality has increased--I opened one of the mystery pin sets (their floral sidekicks series) a few weeks ago and was surprised at how big it was, and how vivid the colors were! In general, I collect a lot of cats/animals pins, so they also tend to have designs that interest me. But it really is a case by case basis...like some of the newest series they've released (the glittery Dumbo!) look super nice and cute, while others.....definitely do not lol. It's a situation where I will happily buy pins from them, but only if I've seen a photo of the actual pin, not just the concept art

I have one of the jumbo limited edition pins, and right now I'm displaying it in the box on a shelf. I was able to gently bend the lid at the bottom to get the box to stand up.

Yeah, Loungefly pins are very hit or miss for me, the quality's usually really bad but I recently got a pretty Sleeping Beauty storybook pin at Boxlunch that totally looks unique! Thanks for another great video, Emily! :)

Great information! I've been tempted to buy some of them (they have such interesting designs) but hadn't yet jumped into it. I didn't even know they really had the jumbo pins! Did you see the new Yzma mini-backpack they just came out with? It's pretty darned cute! :)

I have 138657 Chibi Ariel and 141217 Watercolor Ariel and even if they might be soft enamel I am happy with the quality. Note: 141217 is called Glitter Ariel on PinPics and on Hot Topic's website, but it's "ARIEL WTRCLR" on the backer card, right above the barcode.

I've got a few Loungefly Disney pins and never realized they were tradeable! Would you recommend against trading them, though, considering they're lower quality? Or do you think it would be fun for other pin traders to see some more "unusual" designs on lanyards/boards that they can't buy in the parks?
