mr. dong. your videos are awesome. I work in Korea to draw cleanup, key animation, and layout (pose & BG). And your video demonstrates in a fairly easy and concise way an amazing level of detail that can literally be applied in practice. These are videos that are extremely helpful for aspiring animators. It does not teach a great level of "sakuga", excellent sketching of the human body, but these tasks explain the work process of the "work" animators have to do when they start working on site. If you enter an animation company with these knowledge, your seniors will be quite surprised and will like it because you can learn the job quickly. In addition to Decadence, you can also see animations in which you participated as key animators! I always support your videos!!!

Plzz look at my question 🙋 I have watched your video on 3d in Anime but still have a doubt🙂 In anime, Backgrounds are made in 3d, But I am talking about Characters such as - fight scene in Demon Slayer, Fate Stay night and Attack on Titan, Are characters made in 3d and painted over it to look like 2d Or Characters are really Hand Drawn (they just use 3d reference for drawing)

extremely helpful as always, Anime has the best animations, directions, storytelling, ost and creativity. No wonder it even influenced Western commercials, games and films (such as Marvel, Dreamworks, etc..) in the last decade. (Arcane, TOH, Spiderverse, Puss in boots) anime is on 🔥
@brandonart267
@brandonart267 Жыл бұрын
Anime has surpassed storytelling, characters and cinema in the West for decades now. (recently the West is reinventing itself and learning from anime, as you may have already seen heavy anime influences on Arcane, Spiderverse, Puss in boots, and some live action from Marvel (where they improved action scenes with clear anime influences , because some excellent techniques only anime use in vídeo media, and they are the best at creating action scenes, storytelling techniques and effects (since the 2000). )), if you watch a lot of anime and not just slice-of-life you know that their techniques are unmatched by any competitor in audiovisual.

Hello, I have a question regarding a scene in need of your expertise. I have completed a camera panning shot from the top of a building down to the bottom of the building in 3D and now wish to convert it to a 2D frame-by-frame format. The sequence is approximately 16 seconds long and animated on 2's. Would you be able to provide guidance on how best to achieve this? I can provide the shot for further clarification if needed. Thank you for your assistance.

@SachaGacha
@SachaGacha 2 ай бұрын
Animators are using these lines before actual coloring to indicate Highlights and Shadows and/or gradient. Blue lines : Shadows outlines Red lines : Highlights outlines Green lines : Gradient indicator And they also commonly fill in those colors, which varies on our individual opinion. For example : (For the gradient, you don't really have to fill in.) Purple : Hair Shadow Yellow : Highlights fill in Light/Dark Green : Saturation Lighter Blue : Others (Clothes, skin...) Slight darker Yellow : Skin Shadows It really varies depending on you. I honestly use pink for accessories and orange for skin Shadows. It's very up to you to choose how many fill in colors, outlines you are comfortable with and in which spot you put them.

There are some things that confuse me about that part of the pipeline, like, do the in-between drawings always have to be clean? or can the In-between drawings be roughed out and then cleaned up later? Just thought it would be a neat video idea. Take care!
