Its a real shame that you can't use the Cowbella Mixer to prep ingredients using different flavors of milk and eggs and can only use the generic ones. Just imagine making batter or cookie dough with fire milk or obsidian eggs. Those would give your sims some pretty cool effects. Then there are faux meat cubes and insect meat from Eco Lifestyle that could have also made for some cool prepped ingredients for certain meals.

Faux meat cubes can be used in the Chowbella mixer to make prepped imitation meat .

If you place the waffle maker and the pizza oven in a community lot just like the high school, you will be able to cook waffles and pizza without ever starting a fire. We strongly recommend against using the waffle maker until level 3 and the pizza oven until level 6 if using them on a residential or rental lot, though.

So glad we can finally base game make our own pizza! That alone moves this pack to the top of my wish list. While I do have a mod that allows me to, it will be great to get it base game (plus those new official pizzas look much cooler haha)

Another great vid! Two things, Petey- 1.= you said "Focused" when you were showing the Inspired buff for the first buff on pizza maker and then 2.= I'm pretty sure the text on the 2nd buff (alien fruit one) just increases the chance so you have to go use a telescope or something that would normally give a chance at abduction for the buff to increase it.

Just a heads-up to those who play Vegetarian Sims, at present the Plain Waffles are miscoded. While their description says "Vegetarian-Safe", it's actually not. If a Vegetarian Sim eats a Plain Waffle, they'll get the Uncomfortable Moodlets associated with eating meat. This issue has been posted on the EA Answers forum, so hopefully it will be fixed at some point. In the meantime, Vegetarians beware. Also, as has also been noted on EA Answers, there are no Lactose-Free waffles. The Lactose-Free Batter can only be used in two recipes in regular cooking (one of which is the Lactose-Free Yorkshire Pudding.)

Are waffles dessert in Australia!? In my experience waffles are either breafast, brunch or dinner. Stroopwafels are a cookie but also not a waffle iron food. So I'm really curious, are waffles generally snacks in Australia?

It's a shame that the prepped meat substitute and lactose-free batter doesn't work with any of the new recipes and only a handful of the old ones. I would also add that it's worth to add the "unbreakable" upgrade to the waffle maker and the mixer so they won't break in the rain. PS. I haven't tested it myself yet, but according to many comments, the Unidentified Fruit Object DOESN'T work with the curious pizza. I bet it's some kind of a bug.

Oh man, they included EVERYONE from the Curious family in the description of the pizza, didn't they? I approve as a fan of the old Sims 2 stuff. XD But yes, maybe adding some sort of "fireproof" upgrade to the pizza oven would be a good idea! My Sims have already had to deal with enough fires from NPCs practicing herbalism on their grills. XD

PlumBobert! Dine Out is notoriously buggy, but just in case you wanted to try out the gameplay I find if you make restaurant layouts relatively simple with enough space to move around then they can function ok :).
