I can't say how helpful these videos are! I'm a baby stage manager, (doing it for the first time tomorrow actually) and silently freaking out at screwing something up or going in clueless. To say I feel under qualified when it comes to knowledge of being a stage manager would be an understatement, but watching these videos give me the littlest of hope that I can do it Wish me luck!

First off, I absolutely love that this channel was made 🥰! I’m a graduate student at YSD and I’m always looking for things like this to keep me connected with my craft since we won’t be in production due to Covid 🙄. Now to pre tech: I remember completely underestimating how time consuming pre tech was when I first started out 😂! I think my favorite part of pre tech is making wallet cards! I’ve always loved arts and crafts... it’s actually been very therapeutic for me! I’m all for a good wallet card! 🥰

Professional theatre artist here! You don't have to pick just one thing to be! Theatre is an interdisciplinary artform and there's so much to engage in, and it helps to have a diverse skillset. I have done all three of those things and more in my own career!
