The tendency that others have to look at scorpio risings and react with immense love or hatred, is mostly due to the projection of their own insecurities. Which is SO annoying because we really are their wake up call that something is obviously wrong with them, and yet? They NEVER get help, they mistakenly fight us instead, and THINK that will solve their problems.

one thing about the scorpio rising is that revenge comes in all forms in our minds. I have moon in sixth aspected by Jupiter in sag (trine) and in my opinion revenge comes from optimism and (venus in pisces) (5th) also showing love to your enemy. Gemini sun scorpio rising. I'm very confused by my decisions sometimes... And I definitly regret a lot of the things I do but then I just deal with those. My dad died when I was only 13. That was a really big stone in my life where I honestly didn't want to life anymore. It shaped me though and I feel stronger now. My family is very into spirtual meanings although we are not 'religious' we do have our own believes of how this universe functions. This video was really helpful to me. I'm trying to understand myself more and why I feel so much. It never was my style to have this like pessimistic view on things but as I grew older it just started to develope. I don't think it's bad though because you will not be surprised so much if something bad happens. This is spot on. Parents/family highly educated and well-off, father is a post-doc from Harvard. Education was always highly valued in upbringing, more so than status/authority/monetary gains. Family always emphasized creating value and having high education was important above anything else. Lord of mars, aries in the 6th house. So I am in medicine. Scorpio rising is definately the most misunderstood sign, they always get the most insane press! But that is cause they are insanely intelligent, but not the airy or mercurial intelligence of other signs, scorpio is an emotional intelligence, and its often quite profound. I would say they are the least gullible of all with regard to the outside world, yet ironically can become a victim to their own thoughts, hence the proclivity to paranoia. They're calculated differently, and the western one is like a messed up transcript of the original zodiacs, one of them being the Vedic. It's almost like any of the old documents, being lost in translation and false meaning... =This one in calculation... Vedic is calculated from a broader perspective - of the Stars and the position of Earth in relation to them... The western one is calculating as if the Earth is the center of the Universe. 🙄 --- So, I also thought I was a Scorpio ascendant, but didn't really feel it. Then I figured out tbrough Vedic calculations that I'm really a Libra ascendant, and all of my other planets made much more sense.

In Vedic astrology my real rising is the same as Scorpio, rather than libra ascendant and my sidereal time is 9:58:37. Also universal time at 14:30 which should be in the morning.
