ICAI REPLY : IN CASE STUDENT HAS APPEARED EVEN ONCE FOR CA FINAL UNDER OLD SCHEME, HE/SHE IS NOT REQUIRED TO QUALIFY SET C , D. Only SET A & B are mandatory. In case Student has never appeared for CA FINAL under Old scheme i.e. before May 2024, and has cleared 7 papers at Inter level, student is required to qualify SET A, B & either of SET C or D.

Hi @McVadoni, Where did you do this inquiry from? Could you please share the email required for asking such query to ICAI?Also, 'appeared for CA Final even once' means for both groups or any one group. My case: I have appeared twice in old scheme final but only for Group 1. Filled Group 2 form but did not write.

@@Theist18 I mailed to icai for clarification. They replied like this. But in ur case , you are exempt from SET C & D. As you already appeared for exams in old scheme

It is being instructed that for set c or d we have to attend mandatory lecture for 20 hours but the subject in the set c or d doesnt even have the prescribed learning hours, so if this is the case how can we write the set c or d and appear in the upcoming examination November 2024
