I also use mine for cleaning up grout joints on occasion. It works well in tight areas where an oscillating tool can't reach. I may even try my hammer to help clean out some of the more stubborn joints.

How cool is THAT!!! Actually I saw Lucy Walker do a similar demo and I was blown away at how versatile that new Foredom is, I mean, a real WOW factor. Of course this came out right after I bought my first micromotor. The Foredom micromotor that I bought was probably their least expensive but because of back issues and having a difficult time using the peddle, I needed and wanted one I could control from the top of my bench. AND, I just bought a hammer hand piece so being able to set a speed for it was really important for me. Anywho, you did a great demo showing how versatile this new micromotor is. I want a brushless hand piece like the one you’ve got. Soooo nice. Thanks as always. 🔨👩🏼‍🎨🌵

I really like this machine. It sounds like you have the k.1070 and that is also an absolutely wonderful machine too. I have really liked all of my Foredom micromotors.

Using 2mm or 3mm PU polishing pins at 1000 RPM work really well for eliminating seam lines, epoxy, and CA glue on plastic models.

Your 1050 is silver, mine is white. Hmm. Thank you for pointing out the personal injury risk when using bits beyond their speed capacity. I learned my lesson the hard way with a polishing pin mandrel. Thankfully, there was little damage and minimal injury.

Thank goodness for the minimal damage. I also found out the hard way, also with little damage and no injury. But it was still scary when it happened.
