1. Taking 4 courses per semester will be not hectic since you will get good learning of those subjects from IIITB course. 2. It depends upon cost factor and ranking. Clark is still better in cost factor. 3. University Location doesn't matter now since alot of jobs are remote work and you can decide which state you want to work.

I got scammed when I applied to TOURO UNIVERSITY via Upgrad. So basically they enrolled me in without checking my documents properly and after 4 months they told me that my backlog count is higher so they can't apply for the university. They gave me a couple of options in UK, which I did not like. They did not refund my money as well. Now I am stuck with a course and university that are completely different from my initial choice.

Hi, I have the same experience with upgrad. I've been a victim of a scam by Upgrad Abroad, having paid 3.82 lakhs. They only given false promises and stories. However, their refund policy lasts for only two weeks After 3 months Upgrad people called me to tell that they rejected my application for Mercy University even for Jan intake. They are just talking nonsense. That i failed interview and all. My experience with UpGrad has been quite disappointing, to be honest. For the hefty sum of 4 lakhs, all I've gotten is stress and tension. Initially, there was talk of you got the offer letter for studying abroad & everything is set but now it's just overwhelming stress. I have emailed them. I'm waiting for their reply, but could it be because of my academics. My percentage is 60%, and I have over 20 backlogs. But why did they send the initial offer letter that University accepted you and accepted the payment without informing me about eligibility criteria initially? I didn't pay money just for an UpGrad online course. My goal is to pursue a Master's degree in the USA. It's of no use if I'm not eligible. They will just waste my money and time this way. They have have a refund policy of 2 weeks. Hence, according to them I'm not eligible for refund. They are saying you can choose different course, university or country. But you are eligible for refund. They held an interview, but I'm unsure of its purpose. The counselor informed me that the VP of Mercy University requested it. I felt anxious. When I received the calendar invite, I discovered the individual on LinkedIn, learning he's part of the marketing and sales team at UpGrad. Why all this drama? They could have simply said it was the UpGrad team wanting to speak with me. I'm really confused about what's happening. My counselor, who seems to be more of sales person over support, just told me I failed the interview. But honestly, that doesn't add up because I had a really positive conversation with the interviewer. Plus, it's strange because the interviewers are all from the UpGrad team. So, it's not making any sense to me.

@@jockyjackson9758 they told me to apply again for next intake, but the thing is once your visa is rejected you have to show huge change in your profile in order to get visa approved, so even if you apply with clark again for next intake, most probably visa can be rejected again.

If there are, I would suggest to go through it and do the required research before applying. The sole reason to make this video is to share the information by people who have already taken the admission through UPGRAD . This video in no way is the promotion for the program. However, In my experience I have not heard any such things yet.

I was working in indonesia for 2.5 years and I was present there at the time of visa appointment, hence it was allowed and it was very easy compared to our process.

If 2 years, how will we be able to work off campus as you’re not allowed to on a student visa? 3. The upgrad people informed us that the loan repayment starts from 6 months from your graduation completion. If we don’t have an off campus job only after graduation because of the student visa, how do we start the repayment of loan?

@@arpit6264 plz don't go with upGrad. I had paid 3.75 lakh still I didn't receive my offer letter. Before paying fee they will do 30 to 40 calls per day after payment they won't respond to you properly. Since 6 months I'm paying my EMI still I didn't receive my offer..

@@exploitjunkie They tried hard to convince me and made me no time to think much about it, and I paid 25000/- which they said its a last day to make seat booking and then we will help you with the EMI process and my program started and they tried to get me the EMI plans, But due to some certain salary reasons they didn’t made as I planned So I quit the program And requested for refund but they just refunded me 5000/-rs only. And I Am still in there groups the program is going on… mostly there are so many working professionals are taking these courses, and I found a friend who is from my same state he is continuing his course I will be touch with him and get to know by the end of July 2025

No , it wont be an issue in those case. You can pursue internship after completing two full semester in USA and thats what you will be doing via upgrad i believe hence its just like a normal process.

Yes, its worth it depending how much hard work you are willing to put into your journey. hence, its subjective if i can say its worth it. I would say average price for a masters at Clark, with living expenses can go uptill 40 - 5- Lakhs. (Approx, but depends on Scholarship, the type of living style etc etc) 3 . Its there, but you will have to find all by yourself, Universities don't provide placements.
