Let us hope Daniel gives Yuki the respect he never really showed his old teammate Lando. He needs to blend with Alpha Tauri and not try to divide the team into team Riccardo. Learn from Gasly, cooperate rather than compete. Cohesion makes the dream work. Teammate is a rival on track but not the enemy overall.

Alpha Tauri has the best PR team and ran great footage of Gasly & Yuki' bromance. Appears on the surface a great move for Daniel and Alpha Tauri, with Daniel's experience to give feedback on a car to help develop it. I hope Daniel gives Yuki the respect he deserves and the rivalry can be hard but fair. I feel this could be the fun pairing of the grid, didn't Daniel already feed Yuki leaves in the blindfold taste test. Yuki has banter, he stole Gasly's luggage as payback. I really hope both these boys can have a podium by end of season. Fair play to Daniel learning Italian to the first address of his new team, shows a willingness to adapt to his new team but also shows respect. Let's Go!!!

It's sop easy to see just how much Daniels spirit lifts everyone around him. To see the way the staff at the factory responded to him, and everyone that he comes into contact with is just incredible. It was the same when he went to Renault, then McLaren. And no doubt that his positive attitude, and experience will help Alpha Tauri every bit as much as it helped Renault, and McLaren. I've always said you can tell a lot about an employee by what happens when they leave and come back even if it's for vacation. The people, people like, staff are always so excited to talk to you and can't wait to tell you what happened when you were gone, and they come straight up to you. If you leave and come back and people can barely be bothered or haven't even noticed you were gone, that will tell you a lot.
