I earnestly prayed for weeks asking the LORD to show me the truth of his WORD AS HE WOULD HAVE US KNOW and the LORD who is pleased with every good prayer led me through the HS to several passages in the Bible that the Beast of the sea, the CC, had revised in the latter 4th century after they had made the only true God into a Trinity of Gods.

This needs to begin with our leaders first. But the problem is our leaders are the problem, they are not converted themselves. So the truth is this is a false revival. Hence it will not attract any pentecostal power from above. Its like the prophets of Baal at Mount Carmel they produced nothing.

This was presented at our church about 6months ago and many churches have started this and it has been a blessing. This is not just for the church as a whole but for each and every one of us to have a true revival in our hearts and to allow the Holy Spirit to work in our hearts specially during these times. The NAD has worked very hard for this and continue to do so for this project. One of the things we have started is studying the book of Revelation chapter by chapter with their new Revelation bible study guide that was created by NAD for pentecost 2025. We finished 40days of prayer along with another week of prayer in Oct. even the children have had their own week of prayer. During the 40days of prayer every topic was about the Holy Spirit and 40 different people in our church and others who were invited preached each night about the topic given regarding the work of the Holy Spirit. Some preached for the first time and many have the gift of preaching that we unfortunately didn’t know because the opportunity wasn’t given to them before (including an 11year old child). The Adventist schools here have started their 40days of prayer with their students. I wish every church worldwide would do this as well.

The Pentecost of the past wasn’t focused on evangelism. True, it resulted in a powerful witness that brought souls to Jesus, but that’s because the Pentecost of the past was the church assembled for repentance, confession, and consecration. Only then were they ready to be empowered by the Spirit for effective mission. We seem to believe we have nothing to repent of, so revival remains at bay and where we could win 1000s we win but 1.

How can Alex Bryant call for Pentecost 2025 when he supports women's ordination against what the GC session voted against. He also supports a bedlam of noise in the church. Years ago there was a uniting in prayer by the world church for the out pouring of the Holy Spirit the Latter rain but it didn't happen because of sins in the church.This all sounds good but without true repentance it's all in vain.

The Pentecost of the past was focused on Evangelism. Jesus asked the disciples to wait in Jerusalem for the promise of the Father. Read Acts 1 : 4 , 8.. About 120 people gathered in the upper room praying for the descent of the Holy Spirit. They eventually took 6 steps that led to Pentecost and what was the result? Thousands of souls were won for Christ. It's time for the Latter Rain and we need to prepare.

The Pentecost of today starts with true revival and reformation. In Adventism, when it starts with a person, that person is marginalized, or even thrown out of ministry or the church. The work of the Holy Spirit for the end is to remove us from Babylon's sins and set us on the right course. Of course, that is the message of the angel of Revelation 18:4. This message is directly tied to the prophet Ezekiel and Ezekiel 36:25-27. Read that and then listen to what EG White says, "These are the words of the Lord, and if the BLINDNESS of those who have betrayed the cause of God into the hands of our enemies is ever removed they will understand this scripture..." Laodician blindness and this hostile attitude towards God's Torah Law, His statutes and ordinances is from the devil. This attitude is also at the core of the 1888 debate. True obedience comes from a converted heart. Alas, finding the correct attitude and response to Torah Law really fulfils White's statement of " not one in a hundred." Literally, NOT even one in a hundred will accept the true work of the Spirit.

I just seen this at our camp meeting in the Carolina’s. There are issues we need to address however Alex mentioned women’s ordination but he said we need to be united and put our differences aside. My wife hemmed him up and said it all sounds great and you call on us to put our differences aside however we have two separate conferences here and they are an embarrassment because they can’t lay their problems aside from something that happened in 1930-1940’s( she’s black I’m ultra white so white I burn in the dark) 😅. I still say scripture is our map and anytime you stray away from it you wind up being on dangerous grounds. We need to get back to the Bible and pray and devote our lives to representing God but asking that we be hid behind the cross and that people only see Him when we open our mouths. Revival and reformation starts with me and my house until that happens can we do anything with out messing it up. One more thought.. I’m not waiting on 2025 for this event and the out pouring of the Latter rain you can’t receive it by waiting on it , setting inside you got to get out in the field and work and when it starts raining you will feel and see the effects. If we are to prepare for another Pentecost experience, we need to start with prayer and coming into one accord as the disciples did. Prayer is also essential for the latter rain. It is not by might or by power, but bythe Holy Spirit that the work will be accomplished.

@BroLawrence. Before they begin their "Pentecost", if they want a real pentecost, the NAD needs to: 1. Confess, 2. Repent, 3. Turn. This denomination is so caught up on baptizing. I wonder if conversion is evidenced prior to baptizing. This project is "a comment to pray earnestly for the outpouring of the latter rain". No pre-work is reference at no point in this presentation; the pre-work of those praying, afflicting their souls in preparation for their pray of receiving the latter-rain. God is not as man, He is not to be trifle with.

The enemy of souls has sought to bring in the supposition that a great reformation was to take place among Seventh-day Adventists, and that this reformation would consist in giving up the doctrines which stand as the pillars of our faith, and engaging in a process of reorganization. Were this reformation to take place, what would result? The principles of truth that God in His wisdom has given to the remnant church, would be discarded. Our religion would be changed. The fundamental principles that have sustained the work for the last fifty years would be accounted as error. A new organization would be established. Books of a new order would be written. A system of intellectual philosophy would be introduced. The founders of this system would go into the cities, and do a wonderful work. Please, someone show me where the Bible says women cannot be preachers. I have seen the debates that they weren't priests (thanks to Pastor Batchelor) and I have seen the biblical scriptures say women are to be silent. I fail to see that it means what is being claimed. It could easily mean no gossip. It isn't clear. So, please clarify if anyone can. As far as I know men were not made better than women in their ability to speak for God since both men and women have been prophets. The church still worships the false Babylonian Trinity God instead of the true God of 1 Corinthians 8:6 2.
