I have to say that I enjoyed this little drama. At times I am yelling at the TV "where is the sword when you need it". I laughed because it was a lighthearted drama with the ML and FL. Love the baby. ❤

I like ML's mother, she was not unreasonable, she disliked FL because she was a horrible wife and mother, he used to despise her own kid so ML's mother was right to not like her but as soon as she realized FL had changed she was okay with her. I love this plot so much, another drama that I liked.

The show would be better if the FL told ML she heard villians plan to use her to destroy him, apologized for treating him poorly, and have them work together to destroy the villians. The love and reconciliation could develop in a realistic way as they work together.

@zdem8259 I am unable to work, so I watch far more YT than I would like. I have watched so many dramas, YB has started recommending ones I have already told them that I have seen. The ones where they work together are few. The ones where it feels like she is mainly the one to get revenge, are almost non-existent.

These FL character behavior after bad treatment from the ML character are so reminiscent of domestic violence victims. After an episode of abuse they fall into the cycle of trying to coax kindness, affection, and affirmation from their abusers. It's so eerie seeing this behavior play out in these dramas, but not having it be about DV as a whole. Sad!

@@debduttapathak8588 Then have a conversation or an argument like a good intelligent person would. Confrontation is fine, but you start getting physical when the other person isn't and that's abuse (not a fight). Putting your hands on someone in that way is only allowed when under physical threat (unless we're talking about BDSM; which these scripts are not). I don't mind light manhandling like, grabbing arms or a shove out the way, but it's always hands around the neck, constant hard slap to the face (which would be fine under certain circumstances), or rape. These scripts are only about degrading women as much as possible in story format. I've seen the same story premise without abuse. How many scripts have the ML rape the FL and nothing is acknowledged as such; but let the scumbag character or someone the scheming female hire to do the same thing and that's when it's stopped. They throw the "I'll take responsibility" line out like she was a willing participant and romanticized the heck out of it. They have the FL fighting him off and saying "No" the whole time.

Even without the murderous plots, the vicious attacks, slapping, and slandering are beyond a joke... What are scriptwriters trying to teach their viewers? Same observation here. Also, almost all characters bow down their heards to the rich. If the person is rich, they "give face" to them.. and most parents in these dramas exchange their daughters to wealth in the form of "dowry," that sometimes they demand it as if it by making a scene infront of outsifers, others make their daughters provide for the heir in the family because the male in the family will continue their lineage, but most of these brothers are portrayed lazy( but I think that is the fault of the mom for overindulging that so called heir)... sometimes I wonder if there is some truth to these.

27:39 The personality of ML character in these scripts are allowed to be consistent throughout the story. It is such a contrast to the personality of FL character's, because her purpose is to fit each scene and its desired outcome which is mostly to showcase the MLch bravado, strength, or authority. She can beat the guy in one scene and the next she is not allowed to speak truth or show any authority. The constant manhandling also telegraphs her low worth in every scene. It's so fitting for the place it comes from. This is how you know what talent doesn't look like. I thought they were getting better at adapting the rebirth scripts, but the new crops they are spitting out is going backwards. Which I have to assume is what the Chinese audience wants. It's also telling as to why none of these actors make it up the ladder. This is their top tier because they can't be trusted with roles that require more (they are also limited by other factors). This side of the market really is only for them.

Idk about this one. I didn’t really like it. Fl isn’t likable for some reason. Why in the last life did she abuse her own daughter? Why is her husband always choking her? He’s the good guy????? So confused. Ending was just an end after everyone got taken care of. It wasn’t really like a true ending. I didnt really like it. 3/10

My favorite part is where the grandma beat the FL's evil dad with her cane to the point of breathlessness. The dialogue there was hilarious. My least favorite parts are when the FL always turns her head to be slapped, not even dodging it. Stupid. Ok, drama as a whole.
