true it is and I literally cried so much during this scene and this scene made me like Carrie and I luv her character growth and character development and also I luv her hair too and I luv the fact they had a convo and Layla was able to express everything Carrie did too and also Carrie as well and it is true Layla saved her and hopefully they start a fresh start when they are ready

Yeah Layla was talking about when she was in that cliff when she was battling her depression and Carrie did the same thing but from that time period Layla did not call her dad she called Spencer and admitted and she said I need help and apologized for pushing him but from that that’s how Layla met Carrie but the reason why Layla went through depression is because she got robbed and Kia told Spencer who robbed Layla’s house I think Layla needs to confront Spencer and find out who robbed her house and Spencer needs to tell the truth but In Vegas Layla expressed her feelings she told him I never stopped loving you so in season 2 when they were together then when it was toxic then they broke up and then Layla gets help and meets Carrie from all that Layla loved Spencer so Spencer is the reason why Layla and Carrie have a friendship.

@@johngittings281 season 3 episode 9 she told spencer that Jabari was the lookout of a robbery that was a bling ring in season 1 episode 15 when the cops called Layla about what happened it was the same thing was Kia told Spencer

@@RipJuice-cz1pp oh ok I do remember that now that you mention it. That leaves me two questions now that I hope get answered before the series ends. First, will Spencer ever find out beyond reasonable doubt that Jabari was in on that? And second, who actually shot Spencer? Yes, obviously Tyrone was behind it, but gang members at that level usually don’t get their hands dirty. I’m pretty sure he had someone else do it.

@@johngittings281 I think so and Cliff shot Spencer because he called Billy and told him that he heard about the shooting and knows that Billy would be up all night at the hospital and hopes that Spencer would pull through and then he calls Principal London to fire Billy as head coach and cliff would take the Job so he was trying to get revenge because Cliff was taking advantage of Billy Spencer and the football and the only way was to shoot Spencer

@@RipJuice-cz1pp I’m all but sure it was Tyrone. Spencer literally threatened him to his face earlier in the episode. Not only that but I think the guy was actually aiming at Olivia because Tyrone probably knew that Spencer was in love with her (even though he was going back and forth with Layla at the time). Cliff was definitely a shady person who had it out for Billy, but I couldn’t see him doing something as sinister as killing a teenager just to get rid of a coach at his school that he hated. However, just the fact that he used the situation as a means to get Billy fired tells you everything about him as a person.
