One of my favorite albums from this era. To me, 'Sister Sledge' is Kathy on lead vocals, with the lovely Joni(may her spirit rest in eternal peace), Kim, and Debbie. As a collective, the girls saw some really great success(which to me, had much to due with the 'Chic' sound, and of course Kathy's stellar vocals). Absolutlely love ' All American Girls'.

Love this album and when i lived at Ft Riley Kansas 1978-1981 there were no outlet for r&b music but Soul Train Midnight Special Don Kirshner Concerts house parties or Kprs on the weekends but things have changed now because of the internet radio stations all over the 🌎
