It would be cool, but we already know that the mega Mek was driven by other people, not bob that was added as a character just now, we will have to wait and see how they will adapt him to the story on extinction

@@EdmundiumHitting Jeremy confirmed these tales are just bogus. Hence the title “Tall Tales”, but there are a lot of details that are accurate to what the actual explorer notes tell you. So, I’ve been wondering: Is Bob “retelling” what he had heard from the player(s) about what they had learned from the notes they’ve collected on their journey, and decided to “retell” them to Meeka with his own twists? And was Bob actually on the Island back then and actually met Helena there but he didn’t make it through, just like how he didn’t last as long in the animated series’ non-canon storyline (though it’s implied he does respawn on Scorched Earth there, as shown in the Part 2 trailer in EP.6). If so, did he then respawn on the Genesis ship, just like Santiago did twice, before being launched down to the alien planet just like everybody else?

@@moviemaker199I think bob is meant to be an insert for our player from ark one, partially because of the fact that when you first create a survivor in Ark it’s name is bob and that’s what bob is designed after, plus bob as our character would have good knowledge of all the information the explorer notes have to offer. Perhaps if Ark 2 ever releases either we’ll be playing as our survivor again, taking the same dynamic that this bob has with Santiago’s daughter, that or maybe we’ll play as someone new and bob will be there as a stand in for our character who beat Genesis, maybe even having lots of Ark community based jokes, only the good kinds though, not the toxic parts, hopefully.

I wonder if Meeka would find functional Tek from what's left of the Eden Ring to try to bring some of the lore guys, and some lost people in general, back as clones in Ark 2 itself?

It's probable that she can find some old tek remains or even element since rockwell's ring blew up, but to bring back the original guys you'd need their dna from what we're led to believe, and then again not all are dead, bob's a new addition which we can say for sure is alive, santiago is alive we saw him in the trailer, mei (the beast queen) might still be around, but as helena ascendend and became an homo deus, and then copied some parts of herself into HLNA which sadly blew up along side rockwell, which brings me to the only character that could be cloned, rockwell, because we don't know how resilient his biology truly was, meaning in theory we could bring him back via contaminated dna from some old tek or element scraps.

Well, they did say “familiar faces” will be returning. But who else, if anyone else besides Santiago, will be there as well is unknown. Maybe Rockwell. Maybe also Mei Yin. Who knows?

No, the animated show is based on its own alternate timeline, so nothing is cannon. Bob tall tales however is part of the main cannon storyline according to the Wildcard CEO. To what extent, we won't know until Ark 2.

Hello, mate. Yes, I am currently in the process of recording a guide showing all the Bob note locations. Unfortunately, due to map issues with Aberration, I am crashing every 5 minutes, as I did when the island first came out. That is why the guide has not yet been released: I am unable to stay in the game long enough to capture the footage. Rest assured, I will get it out as soon as possible.

I wish i could enjoy ASA but even on ps5 or xbox series X/S the game crashes more than ASE on old gen consoles or weak PCs and thats bs they said it was going to be a "upgrade"
