wow that was sooooooo helpful, even for an old player like me. Now I can get rid of the soldier armor and get the guardian one for group dungeons

Besides, the Enfeeble Aura skill on Guardian Armor really helps in group dungeons

@@LeyviAniki ik but I use the threat ability cuz sometimes the mops turn and fight the DPSs or the healer, which both have low defensive stats

@@xxblackkingxx3163 If this happens in group dungeons, you might have another skill selected wrong. You want to select the 300% aggro passive on your chestpiece. The best weapon for group dungeons as a tank is the Incubus Mace, which you want to take the Threatening Smash on the Q and the Snare Charge on the W. You jump on the mobs with W, hit them with your Q and only after that your party starts attacking/healing. This way all the mobs will be on you 100% of the time

Hey Hashem, that's a Tier 8 armor. It's a matter of leveling your armor masteries and being able to wear it and afford it.

Plate armor in the vast majority of cases isn’t for dps

The problem is most likely myself since I am new just about to hit tier 3 mage stuff but I notice with a full cloth set and my staff yeah I deal a decent amount of damage but the enemies are messing me up bad health wise sometimes to the point where I have to flee which has me thinking it might be better to go to the leather or plate armor because I see the armor rating is significantly higher for those compared to cloth edit - okay so you had said somewhere in the video that wearing plate armor does not make you more tanky over cloth or leather, how does that work or did i hear it wrong?

You can't, it's fixed height and the same for each character. But you can use resistance pots or the giant skill on guardian boots to become tall for a couple seconds 😄

For the chest piece, in most cases yes, since cloth provides the highest damage stats. On your boots and helmet however the ability is more important than whatever passive the piece provides, so those could be any of the three depending on what complements your build the most.
