Hello AC fans!! I mentioned it in my description, but a lot of people are still asking about it: The audio is choppy because the video kept getting blocked due to copyright. Most of the trailers used songs that are not owned by Ubisoft and therefore were getting flagged by the owners. In order to get the video to even be published I had to cut out most of the audio from the trailers. I'm sorry that it takes away from the trailers, but it was the only way for it to post! Thanks for understanding!!

“How are you a pirate and an assassin?” No spoilers, purely historical context. Pirates back then were a lot more merciful than pirates now. They lived by a code. They didn’t attack innocent fishermen. They attacked ships belonging to the British and Spanish crowns. Sounds very Assassin-like doesn’t it? In fact the original Caribbean pirates were actually working for the Queen of England at the time and were betrayed by their government which led to them becoming pirates. Sounds very Ezio-like doesn’t it?

Black flag is about a pirate who kills an assassin, put his gears on looking for some rewards but as his story progresses he becomes one. He's the grandfather of the assassin 3 character Connor and an ancestor to Desmond Miles, the modern day protagonist. Blag flag is the favorite of many AC fans.

Stabilized? Hardly. All bugs that existed in 2014 still do. The servers are dead and for good reason. Anyone glazing ACU is just obsessing over pretty parkour animations. The game is still average and the poor reception it got at launch is deserved. Co-op is abysmal and made the platinum grind annoying. I've got 18 AC platinum trophies from PS3-PS5 and ACU was still a technical nightmare the last time I played it (2019).

Syndicate is pretty good. I also prefer Evie because she’s better at stealth. At top level, she can even hide in plain sight if she’s not moving. I believe she’s also the only main character in the Jack the Ripper DLC, but I haven’t played it

3:06 *Requiescat in Pace* is just "Rest in Peace" in Italian, so it's just an Ezio thing (since he's Italian, lol), AC 1 takes place in many cities of the Middle East like Acre, Jerusalem, Damascus, and in Masyaf (where the all Assassins lived, kind of like their HQ ) , so for Altair he would say something similar, but in Arabic . (or also In English)

One of the main reasons why Assasins Creed became a hit was because the gameplay and game mechanics were actually similar to what you saw on the cinematic trailer which wasn’t the case for most games back then. I went crazy the first time I played AC1 when it released, I obviously went in with muted expectations but I was blown away.

Assassin's Creed Rogue has a different perspective and the story perfectly builds up for that. Everyone has their own preferences but for me Assassin's Creed 1 will always remain as my favourite. One reason is this game was supposed to be a follow up of Ubisoft's previous franchise "Prince of Persia" which is another franchise and my personal favourite but Assassin's Creed had a different story from Prince of Persia so Assassin's Creed grew as its own franchise altogether since then and Mirage brought that vibe and atmosphere back.

“Assassin-turned-Templar?” Had you played III and Black Flag, you’d know it’s not as uncommon as you think. Rogue shows us that it’s not all black and white, and sometimes Assassins can dive off the deep end and take the same “the ends justify the means” road as the Templars. To me, the worst part of Rogue was having to kill a character I liked from a previous game

Altair spoke in Arabic the assassin motto “Nothing is true, everything is Permitted” when he took someone out. La shai'a waqi'on motlaq bal kollon momken Ezio chose the simple rest in peace in Italian. Kassandra did not say much but gave comforting words depending on person. Beyak said the Duat awaits which is a reference to the judgement time of the Egyptian afterlife. Evior used lore from the book of Viking legend to guide people to Valhalla or the hell of Vikings. Conner said a unique interpretation of some Mohawk afterlife sayings. Edward didn’t really have much religious faith so simply gave a pirate salute. The Frye twins said verses from the st James bible. Arno used bible verses in French. Basim uses Arabic verses from the Quran. I believe Naoe will use Japanese traditional sayings from the Shinto religion while Yasuke will say things in Japanese but in English too. Each has their own way of comforting the dying.

Another thing you could react to would be the game awards orchestra! Every year at the game awards, they do an epic compilation performance of the theme music from all the game of the year nominees. I'm pretty sure there's a video with all their performance since like 2015

Hi LiteWeight. Great reaction. I can't wait to see the first gameplay for Shadows. That away I know if I made a mistake or not from purchasing the Collectors Edition, lol. But I have high hope's for this one. I wish they would do remakes like they've done with the Resident Evil games or like The Last of Us Part 1 Remake. It would be cool to see the first Assassin's Creed on new gen consoles in 4K. Also that would force me back into playing them again. Here lately I've only been interested in playing games that are extremely good that look amazing. Example would be Horizon Forbidden West or Spider-Man 2, and The Last of Us Part 2. Them games were a blast with amazing graphics. That's why I can't wait to see what GTA 6 will look like. Ubisoft has disappointed over the years. I love the Revelations trailer/intro of the game. It shows how much Ezio is honestly tired of fighting. Became an Assassin as a teenager, lost the woman he loved, he trained new Assassins, traveled all over Italy to hunt down the Borgia family for destroying his family. Assassins Creed Rogue is actually a really interesting game. Sure you play an Assassins turns Templar but it shows and explains why he does it and its not for selfish reasons but reasons that maybe anyone would've done I still don't get why they never show Assassins Creed Liberation trailer When it comes to Assassins Creed Valhalla trailer, I like the Fem Eivor trailer more then the male Eivor trailer. The trailers theme are different in both.

Now I've played almost every Assassin's Creed game most of my life, where the last one I played was Valhalla. Which I do like the first game, The Ezio Trilogy, Black Flag and Valhalla. But my personal favorite has to be Syndicate. Mainly because I love the settings and timeline during the Victorian London era (1868). And I also do think the main protagonist in this one (Jacob and Evie Frye) are definitely the best ones (along with Ezio of course 😅). Not to mention I also loved the DLC of Syndicate: Jack The Ripper the most.

Rogue was basically a reskin of Black Flag but I enjoyed the story so much better than Unity’s. Unity had better gameplay but the story and characters of Rogue were so good. Still one of my absolute favorites despite becoming a Templar. The reasons for why he did were arguably justified, and you learn that Shay wasn’t a cold-blooded killer. He does what he does because he believes he’s doing right based on the things he’s seen and lived through. If you give it a chance, I really think you’ll be surprised.

@@Ciffer-1998 There is no reskin of AC 1. That would be an official game that plays basically the same, but with a different story. You could say that Brotherhood and Revelations are reskins of AC 2. The most popular AC game is Valhalla, reaching over 20 Million players. And that's hardly a reskin of AC 1, they are the 2 games that are the furthest apart lol. So I have no idea what you're even talking about, calling AC 2 a reskin of AC 1 is not fair to the devs. Because the difference between them is huge. It's like saying Arkham Asylum is the same as Arkham City, which is clearly not the case. And if you meant Black Flag, you're even more off because that's not a reskin of anything. It was completely unique when it released. But that's the 2nd most popular, after Valhalla.

You should definitely play Revelations, it was my favorite of Ezio's trilogy by far. You'll love it. And Black Flag is a MUST. Syndicate was my third favorite Assassin's Creed game after Odyssey and Origins. Evie rules too, I always played as her over Jacob where possible. But Kassandra is a MUST over Alexios any time in Odyssey, my favorite game.

Btw, if you are planning on playing the AC series. You have to start from AC 1 because it's story links to the Ezio games specially AC Revelations and also AC 3. Notably the modern day story of AC with Desmond Miles. Plus, the atmosphere and vibe AC 1 has has never been seen again in any other AC game, not even the Ezio games which I adore so much.

Phew... a lot to say... Being a pirate and assassin didn't mix very well if I'm being honest. Your reaction to Rogue though made me laugh because it was the same reaction I had XD. I knew I had to play it to find out why he betrayed the order... meh XD. I understand it though. I agree with you about unity. Personally, for me it was my favorite. To the new mechanics that were introduced, characters, story, the music, loved it all. AND THAT ENDING... still haunts me. I agree with many others about syndicate. I'll leave that alone there XD. One thing I did like was helping the kids at the factories. Loved Origins. only complaint was I didn't see a reason for them not to be together at the end haha. Finding out where the logo comes from as well was awesome. Odyssey, I loved for fighting and exploration. I have the opposite reaction though. For me it was hard to like Kassandra lol... I liked Valhalla, I wished it was more assassins creed type things in it. Also ending was meh for me but still loved it. The music being different is interesting because "apparently" Evior originally was always going to be female. Buuuuut some higher ups didn't like that and made them add the switching because they wanted a male Viking character. The switching was the compromise. I know you didn't watch it here but Mariage. Bleh. Couldn't get into it. Probably because who we were playing as. Okay, my opinion that no one cared about is over. Just don't have anyone who likes assassin's creed to talk to so I figured why not😅😅😅😅

If you havent play revelations , then start with AC 1 , because the Revelation game plot are connected with Altair (AC1) and ezio. Then go for revelations.

yeah, Ezio trilogy is the best imho. That voice actor with italian accent is amazing. Italy itself is beautiful country with amazing history. So yeah, Ezio trilogy, also first part, where everything starts with ALTAIR. III and IV played, but with without excitement. Unity nice, but Syndicate much better, I played Eve. Then Origins (not bad), and finally amazing Odyssey. Greek part is AMAZING. If you love ancient history, that's for you. Meeting in the game characters like Socrates etc. is so cool. Havn't played Valhalla yet. Totally ignored Freedom Cry and Rogue, because they based on Black Flag, which is not my favourite.

@valeria262 The devs pitched the game as red dead medieval, when RDR was getting made people said westerns did not work in video games of course RDR went on to sell 15 million. In the case of Kingdom Come making a non Fantasy Medieval game was hard to pitch so they pitched more as red dead game but set in medieval times. It shares more with RDR2 however as its very realistic and and feels more like a simulator. Both RDR2 and Kingdom Come came out the same year though it feels like Kingdom come built on allot of the immersive ideas of red dead the same way RDR2 did.

Crowds are kind of bad though and all the npcs in non cutscenes look awful and low texture. The city is very beautiful and facial and parkour animations are very top notch. Although I feel the facial animations have always been and continue to be pretty damn good regardless of the graphic downgrades and whatnot

I had never played any of them, not sure I even heard about them. But the syrip club I worked at in San Diego always had ESPN on the tv and i would see the commercials for #3 a lot and it looked really cool. I played it and loved it and immediately went out and bought #1, #2a, #2b and #2c and played them in order. 3 really does have a great story to it and if you really pay attention to things like names, ties into Black Flag.
