@@johnnyzev Just like to say, I was on the bus, and it was easy to find after your guidance. It was possibly the most crowded bus I've ever been on - suitcases piled up in the aisles, people literally climbing over cases to get out. They would never allow that in England! So a warning to others: they're not actually 'airport buses' with luggage space, they're just ordinary buses and they fill them to the ceiling! Needless to say, went back to the airport on the metro, so easy. I had a lovely time in Athens, a beautiful and welcoming place. Might be a few videos up on my channel!

I wish they had buses from the airport years ago, I hated taking taxis cuz the drivers always tried to cheat me until I conversed with them in Greek and they realized I was an Actual Greek!

If you are referring to these public buses and the metro, no booking is necessary, nor is this an option. Regarding prices, they are steady, and you choose from packages such as 90mins to a whole week using public transport. On ticket machines you will see these options, it’s very easy to understand, so don’t worry about it. Note that airport fares, are always more expensive than the general public transport fare system. You forgot to say about metro…there is a connection of port with airport by metro (50minutes) and with the centre of Athens (30minutes)

Much preferred and less crowded than the metro where you have a great chance to be robbed. Luckily they still accept cash and you won't loose your time figuring out how to issue a ticket.

Do you mean "pickpocketed"?? Robbed sounds very dramatic... Didn't the Greek police catch some Algerian & Georgian (foreigner) gangs who were pickpocketing tourists in Athens Metro? Don't they have security? Have you ever been robbed at the Metro in Athens? I've never had an issue on the Metro there...

The airport buses are ok but for no reason use the city buses old, dirty, not serviced properly and a lot of theft . Avoid at all costs also be careful of cab drivers given the opportunity they will rip you off . Be careful
