Fun fact, using the the Star-bomb you can self trigger your parry using the bladed Wagasa, pretty useful

This is such a bloody fantastic game. I've dabbled with some of the MH games and probably played Rise the most. I also enjoyed a little bit of Toukiden back on the PS Vita. This game REALLY has me hooked. The Karikuri stuff adds so much to the game play and is a huge amount of fun to mess around with for both traversal and combat. The creatures have all been really fun so far and (for me at least) a decent level of challenge. I found it difficult to go back to Rise now as i really miss all the extra building mechanics. It just works so well building up a barrier gate or leaping off 3 stacked boxes for a more powerful attack. Throw multiplayer into that with everyone building at the same time and it gets really fun. Shame the PC port is a bit rough around the edges but for those that can run it or those on console - this is truly a special entry into the genre and i really hope it gets the recognition it deserves.

It's so good the base building is excellent. It's so fun having zip lines everywhere and different structures and camps. I love this game. The weapons are sweet as hell. Combat feels faster

Yes and no, unless you never get hit, you can get all the flashes by just pairing the combinations with the monster, you can see the monster it activates in the karakuri tree

I'm a little confused about the dragon karakuri, take the flying vine as an example, it resources from the dragon pits right? Which then limits how many I can have on any given map, correct? So if that's the case, do I have to go around and deconstruct these flying vines, so I don't run out of resources, and can still put one down whenever I want?

This is way after but for future people make sure you’re doing mighty and not volatile…its a really dumb distinction and honestly they should patch the game so volatile monsters also count as mighty.

either u have to repeat it (i think u can do that in minato chapter 4, there is a quest marker like any sidequest) or u already have it and just didnt have the flash cause u werent host

I beat lurid soulstalker and finished the whole tree…except for the vaporizer unlock. You’re telling me this whole time it was that dude? I farmed him for cladding…its that bs where volatile doesn’t count as mighty isn’t it? That distinction has prevented me from unlocking 3 separate things in the game now…but I’m totally not mad. you mean the one that you use with amaterasu? is the answer is yes, you need to have the monster capture with the wire trap, then mount him and then use the spring karakuri twice, (the one that throw a cable and you use to climb walls)

Got a question so someone in multi-player placed 3 roller karakuri in my map which is a fire based. Now I can't put any more fire based stuff on my map and I tried removing them but they just respawn. Anyone dealing with this or have a possible solution?

I want to say you get a very small pool for dragon karikuri in multi-player. So it maybe you just need to farm up your dragon pits.

@@ThePhOeNiX86 No, he needs to destroy the roller's holding frame, not just the roller. If you destroy the roller 1st, then destroy the frame right after before the roller comes back. Or enlarge the "destroy box" to destroy the whole thing. "yea I had this problem too".
