I liked how the Drifter Trap worked, but having read your other comments and replies, I'm anticipating your improvements! Good job with the Grizzly! It was a good thing you made all those extra spears. Even after the killing shot you still had at least one spear left, but I think that copper spear really helped, too. Weirdly, I seem to find Bismuth and Zinc around the same area--often within the same cave system. But I do "cheat" a little because my eyesight isn't the greatest so I use the "Juicy Ores" mod which makes the ore on blocks big and chunky and easily visible. Otherwise, I'd probably miss half the ores in the game unless I ran into a huge obvious vein. Especially Zinc since I feel that it's the hardest to see on the most stone types. I usually use any extra Zinc to make Brass items like lanterns or torch holders. I really love the coloration on pure Bismuth lanterns and putting them in a room with purpleheart makes the purple on them pop! I haven't found anything that matches the green on them though.

That's good to know that you seem to find bismuth in the same area of the zinc. I'll keep it in mind. The zinc is really difficult to see in the rocks and sometimes I miss it. The combination of bismuth lanterns and purple heart sounds quiet interesting. Thanks for telling me. I'll try to build something in that direction as soon as I find the right materials. The storm trap will be modified to fix some flows, even if I don't know yet how 😅

I think that they will spawn regularly in that area right in front of my house. I have to be prepared hehe

Perhaps your second panel can be a piece of glass slab or a wood vertical slab

Do you mean the trapdoor in the middle? Yes. That would prevent me from accidentally open it. The reason of the trapdoors is to let me go all the way up to collect the loot, since sometimes it drops too far away to be collected from the safe position behind the trapdoors. That's why at one point in this video I removed the stairs, because I couldn't reach the drifter in the back. I am considering your idea. Thanks 😀
