Barking Dogs Never Bite is extremely overlooked and underrated, the chase scene alone is fucking fantastic.

@@mugi4949 Snowpiercer isn’t that bad, it was fun, never watched Okja

@@tristanlanphere7736 it's not bad at all, for me personally, Chris Evans acting was mediocre at best. I ultimately liked the movie tho. Not more than Barking Dogs Never Bite. That movie is really good, far from being Bong's worst (Okja).

@@mugi4949Not seen Okja yet, but out of curiosity what didn't you like about it?

@@Maesterful Since you haven't watched it, I don't want to spoil it since I believe that it is still a decent watch, definitely better than the average Hollywood release. My main gripe with Okja is the main characters (Okja and Mija), they just don't reach the same level of complexity that Bong Joon-ho's films excel at portraying. While the premise is interesting, the actual narrative quickly turns boring towards the end. I think that's the best way I can put it without spoiling it. Okja being his worst film (still decent though) makes sense when compared to his best (Mother/Memories of Murder). It's just like night and day honestly, I feel like Netflix and American producers in general don't mesh well with Joon-ho and that's why Okja and Snowpiercer are at the bottom when talking about his best films.
