All Bosses of Darksiders 1 & 2 (Warmastered & Deathinitive, incl. DLCs)

After many many hours of playing, researching and editing I finished this video which shows all bosses of both remastered Darksiders games, including all DLCs. For me personally the bosses of Darksiders 2 are a bit more impressive, especially The Guardian (17:56). Which is your favourite boss?

As someone who didn't initially play Darksiders when it/they 1st came out. I am so glad that I eventually came around to playing both 1 & 2! I enjoyed playing the original Darksiders. Over the course of 2 full 100% playthroughs, it really grew on me. But as great as Darksiders 1 is. It pales in comparison to Darksiders 2! Which I consider to be 1 of the greatest games of all-time. Everything from the versatile combat. Which allows you the freedom to build both your weapons/armor & your skill tree as you prefer. To the rich open world, puzzles, diverse environments, & compelling story. Makes for a game you not only want to replay. But makes you want to master! Darksiders 2 is a masterpiece that still holds up today. I just wish we could get more games following Death's storyline! And Darksiders games that share the quality of the 1st 2 releases in the franchise. As Darksiders 3 & Darksiders Genesis are a significant step down compared to the 1st 2 games...

I do wish the Prince of Persia games had combat similar to actual Hack and Slash games. I am currently playing the Warrior Within, and I am more interested in the platforming than fighting the enemies.

@@Mr.Ditkovich. don't get me wrong, I actually loved the sands of time trilogy (sands of time, warrior within and the two thrones) but I feel POP focused more on platforming and parkour than combat. I spent more time monkeying up walls than fighting in all 3 games.

I just got done playing DS3, now I'm playing through Warmastered, but also playing a little bit of Genesis with my brother. All these games are so fun. I'm waiting to play DS2 last because I heard Death is the best horseman. That said, I've enjoyed playing as the other 3 horsemen very much. I'm kinda partial to Fury because she's the first one I played as and I absolutely love the Dark Souls feel of that game, I love her fighting style too. Very cool.

War was freed by the time Death Killed Abbadon

Coby Roberts it appears shortly after War and Abbadon’s death, that Earth becomes balanced between heaven and hell since the Well of Souls is still controlled by Azreal. We know that resurrections are possible since, in DS3, a demon and angel goto the Lord of Hollows to be killed and freed of their perpetual revival. I’m thinking, based on the latest trailer showing off The Destroyer himself, that in killing all the sins - Fury paves the way for Abbadon to conquer the Well of Souls and prevent resurrections from continuing. This would explain why Angels are quickly dying off in Darksiders 1 and access to the White City is cut off. I’m also of the opinion that this will result in Fury’s death just so that War can kill Abbadon and shattered the Seventh Seal - resurrecting The three.

I loved darksiders 2 so much I played it till everything was done and collected even on the dlc till I couldn't do any else in the game. Probably the best role player made. Wish they made something of an online world of darksiders 2. Hopefully 3 will be as epic as the first games.

They really turned the creative, mechanic/puzzle based boss fights into straight beat-em-ups. Lets be real, Darksiders isn't and was never a game based on your mechanical skill alone. It doesn't even stress mechanical skill that much. The combos and combat is awesome, finishers were great, the characters and themes are creative, the stories and concepts are amazing, but a lot of what took away from what i enjoyed in the first Darksiders in the second game was just how dull it was pulling off the same high DPS combos until the enemy's health bar is drained. On top of that, there was always incentive to explore, which there really isn't in DS 2. There was always something obscure that you needed to find in a place you would never think to check, and loot was generally something you needed that would drastically change your gameplay, such as health and wrath shards, or more souls for the handful for upgrades, or runes for your weapons. Loot mattered. Idk I love the creative world of Darksiders and the second one was awesome, I just hope that the third game isn't fully combat oriented and also focuses on puzzle and exploration the same way the first one did.

Blue Lightning No Darksiders 2 is when it turned onto A RPG, the action on 1 was FAR better than 2 the combat system was simple . 2 got here it went to World Of War Craft points off certain attacks with exp B.S. that wasn't there in the first one and it was to be expected to be in the 3rd installment which it is. Darksiders 1 was set to compete with the God Of War series and they fell off because of the second one.

I'm having a huge problem with camera angles. I'm playing on the PS4 and I can't keep the camera from switching views on me. everytime I try to target something while I'm riding the camera switches me to front view and I lose the target. Same thing with fighting on foot. Camera always winds up with me facing away from the target which causes me to have to spin around to face them. By the time I turn around they're right on top of me again. I can't figure out how to keep the camera from fucking me over!

Referring to the books or comics ok so War is physically stronger than Death once they had to open a door but it was really not that simple so Deqths magic failed but War just rammed the door open But Death is way way way more powerful than War( not in terms of physical strength rather with speed magic etc)

Came back here for the last bit of waiting for Darksiders 3, and I just realized: Uriel is a challenge to War, whereas Death wrecks The Archon. That's pretty impressive. I wonder if they'll make nudges to Death's journey? They're happening at the same time if I'm not mistaken.

Just Me Death wasn’t encumbered near as much as War was (story-wise). I always chalked that excuse up due to mechanic tweaks making DS2 feel more visceral where as DS1 was still a testbed.

@@FatalFist Well I just stopped playing D1, like literally about forty seconds ago. Around halfway through the story (around The Stygian) War is actually close to his full strength. Besides Death is just like War in his journey, a rebel to The Council. War at least has his weapon, and Death's real weapon to boot lol! Death has to make do with shitty scythes that he finds around the worlds he traverses.

I know that DS2 has better ratings and may be the better game, but somehow I like DS1 more. "War" as the main character and the human world after it's destruction are more appealing to me.

Darks1 is better and i like more.and i like war charecter and apearance and his horse compare to death

if I want to have fun and mess around then darksiders 2 coz that was all dependant on your build and skill really but if i wanna feel like an overpowered being although you are stripped of all your power then darksiders 1 and yeah I also think that Ruin was more fun compared to Despair

oh and although reaper form may look better i liked chaos form over it because it was just powerful like you are telling me that reaper form is kinda like a more powerful(during gameplay atleast) form of Death just like War's Chaos form but only if i invest in a specific build that i didn't really like
