I kinda like the Abyssos scythe better just because the bandaging along the relic scythe doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but it *is* still a really cool one. Excited to see it glow!

People easily forget that since Godbert is helping, top quality designs are expect. Godbert only make the wacky designs for his casino because he wants them to be about fun. Outside of his casino, his skills as a Manderville Goldsmith has earned him a reputation in creating top quality weapons and armor demanded even by the best adventurers, rich people, and etc.

Yeah, also some of the weapon rewards in the Gold Saucer are actually pretty solid glams. So with him, it was basically a 50/50, and I think we as a community won that wager.

yep. if you dont skip cutscenes, itll take some time (imo, the cutscenes are the best part too), but if you do skip them, itll take like 2 maybe 3 hours tops, including duty wait time as a DPs

I have a strong preference and bias for the big weapons, like warriors, dark knights, reapers, bards. The always have cool weapons that stand out. The samurai's katanas uasly just look like katanas with different sheaths, they never get as wacky as the oversized axes, Im sure they will all look amazing when they are upgraded and glowing but right now im feeling a little underwlemed by the katana again. I'd like a crazy oversized glowy katana. Like the katanas look like real swords, instead of crazy fantasy weapons. And as a cool as summoners are their weapon is a book, which is never gonna be as cool as a giant axe or sword.

Yes,the next stage will glow, then the form after that will be a new weapon design with no glow, then the stage after that will give it a glow. And so on.. just like every other relic series in this game

boy those nin daggers look like crap. they reeeally need to step away from the over sized cleaver design its becoming old. some normal sized daggers would actually be cool for once. ShB NIN relic second to last step Matte version is still the best daggers in the game. and they are just some plain kunai, Sad.

All the pieces are based on the artifact gear, really cool. The BLM staff definitely stands out and the scythe is the most reaper thing ever but my dirty little MCH heart is thrilled to see a gun that doesn’t look like a stick on a handle or other weird looks that are not nearly as good-looking as the ones for other jobs. Ooooh give me a gun Where the buffalo ruuuun

As a SGE main, a little disappointed. Not really a fan of the short stubby weapons that sheathe in the X shape. More of a fan of the ones that look like wings. Hopefully another relic step will give something more my style. On the whole the set looks pretty decent though, nothing super obnoxious which usually puts me off the relic weapons. Too bad I'll have to sit through all of manderville...
