the problem with long range brawlers is that the one of the only ways to counter them is outsnipe them. grom has way too much range and isn't really countered by anything other than a darryl on his face, and even then their teammates can help him out on that. throwers can counter throwers but grom outranges them all (tick may be able to reach him but even then it's only chip damage, grom can almost do 2k at that if not more distance) , the whole team has to focus grom to get rid of him. like uncle dane said, there's an unbalance of effort.

I like this new tier list format! It's helpful to be able to see every brawler at once, plus your commentary still lets us know what modes brawlers excell in. I would like it better if you put the best of the tiers in front so it was a little easier to understand at first glance but still a great video as always!

This tier list style is perfect! More frequent of these is great if you can!!! You can always explain the best modes/maps for brawlers as they are released since that doesn't change as often (typically it's just when maps are changed and I feel like the general idea can be applied)

You’re making some solid points, but I don’t think that 8-bit has no good gears. The speed gear can be pretty useful in bushy maps and the damage gear is a must imo because 8-bit is pretty tanky.

This video made me think… when is the last time we had a MASSIVE overhaul of balance changes? It feels like the Meta has been the same few brawlers for months. Supercell needs to spice things up, because the game is getting stale

Thing is, if they do people are gonna complain. It's inevitable but with balancing being mostly guesswork, they're gonna mess up and all the people who loves brawlers that suddenly suck are gonna be vocal. That's why they buff weakers ones and nerf strong ones gradually so they can try and avoid it as much as possible

since penny is my main and it hurts to see her struggle like this, ive come up with some ideas for her to be more safe and have more damage: - I would make her "Last Blast" star power a passive from now on, at any level, when her morter gets destroyed, it would fire a last barrage of shots to all nearby enemies. It would still be 4 bombs but the damage would be reduced by a certain percentage (maybe 30%). I think "Last Blast" is outdated and there is no real scenario where you would run it instead of "Balls of fire", so making it a passive and not having to waste your Star Power slot to get that effect would be pretty nice, and the reduced damage on the bombs would make it balanced (i think) - I would give her a new Star Power, that grants her and additional 15% basic attack recharge and a 30% faster shooting speed to her morter. Penny´s basic attack recharge time is stupidly long for the little damage it deals, so having just a bit more would make her more viable. Also, her morter shooting faster would make her enemies try to eliminate it as fast as they could since there would be less time to react to the bombs. This would present two viable and good star powers for Penny to choose from, depending on if she wants more map control with "Balls of fire" or to apply more pressure with this new Star Power. I know this is pretty similar to Tick´s "Automa-Tick reload" but I would argue that Tick´s basic attack is way better than Penny´s, so it would be fair to give Penny a litlle bit more reload speed than Tick. - In my opinion, "Captain´s compass" is not a good gadget. It takes long for the bombs to land, its range is pretty limited and even if it covers a large area (specially if paired with "Balls of fire"), it does not feel as oppresive as some other area control abilities, like Barley´s or Amber´s super. I would eliminate "Captain´s compass" completely and give her a new gadget. This gadget would spawn three barrels in a row in the direction Penny was facing. These barrels would work as a damage wall, like Spike´s or Ruff´s gadget, but the difference would be that Penny could actually shoot the barrels herself, dealing damage to them and having the splash damage at the end of the barrels. This would give her a much safer gameplay against assasins or melee brawlers that can outrun Penny with their abilities (Edgar´s jump, Darryl´s roll, etc...) since she could deal inmense amounts of damage to them if they commit, and the barrels could tank some of the incoming DPS. To balance it a little, since this gadget would do so much for Penny, I would make the barrels have low health or either their health decay over time, so she cannot just permastay behind them. - Finally, I would keep "Pocket detonator" since it can be pretty useful in many situations, specially now that "Last Blast" is a passive and you could pair it with "Balls of fire" to have this unexpected rain of bombs that would also zone out some areas with the burn. I really like "Pocket detonator", it´s a fairly simple gadget and right now, it´s her only answer to those melee assasins I´ve talked about before (you drop the morter right next to you, detonate it and knock back anyone around you). - I would end up giving her two buffs and a nerf: the buffs being a slightly faster missile speed for her main attack and a lower amount of hits you need to charge up the super (since it´s the most important part of her kit); and the nerf being a slight decrease to her splash damage to compensate for everything she would gain from these changes. I would leave her attack damage the same as it is now, since I do not think it is that big of a problem as some other things I´ve commented. Overall, I think this would make her playstyle much safer and her super more relevant and oppresive.

As a jessie main myself, I would put jessie in the A tier. The chain attack is really good in brawl ball, since the enemies usually stick together at the beginning of the game so you can annihilate them easily. I was thinking about switching to rosa since her damage output is massive but I will probably stick to jessie for now.

I think Carl should still be F tier. I think the only way that would make him truely rise up in the meta would be if somehow, probably with an addition to his shield star power, Carl's couldn't be interrupted. This would make Carl so much better, and would probablh require nerfing to either the super charge rate, or that his super can only be interrupted by stuns and pulls, but not knockbacks.

This is probably the only viable way to do the tier list, going forward. There are too many brawlers and game modes to have a complete breakdown. Plus, the brawlers generally are moving up or down in all game modes based on buffs/nerfs and interaction with new brawlers. Well done, KT.

I think that the S Tier and A Tier are very accurate, but the B, C and F tiers are all so messy in placement. In my opinion Spen’s Tier list is a much more accurate depiction of the meta.

This kind of list is still helpful because most competitive players will be able to figure out the modes each brawler is good on, but some small mentions would be nice. Maybe rather than doing a tier list for each mode, just give each brawler a green light or red light in the background indicating if they should be played in the mode. There could be grey for the neutral tiers like C tier from before.

@@Robofoxtris diamond is pretty much bronze. This is a competitive list so it reflects M3+ players and their selections. Primo had a short range and is countered by majority of the meta. Not just that, but as tanks goes there's better options, namely Darryl which easily plays against Primo especially with his super charge and longer range. If you're playing against people that can actually get caught off guard by a speedy primo, then you're not playing high enough in PL to understand why these pros say he's F tier.

@@MrGamis Range doesn't even matter that much when you can literally chain a way to get close, el primo's 1st gadget is helpful on 1v1's or getting a brawler that counters you from close away from you while the second one can basically negate an entire lane or control a circle in hot zone, you cannot compare such a versatile brawler (not saying he's op or anything he still gets countered by slow downs and pushbacks) with an area control brawler that barely deals any damage and an easy to counter super or a short range assasin that has less hp than a mid range brawler that only gets 3 supers per game and spends the rest of it dying and waiting for it. And you say "only noobs get caught of guard by an speedy primo" When he has 2 ways to boost his speed with his already above average speed and his transportation super

This is really helpful and easy to understand but less visually appealing so if I'm allowed to make I suggestion I would suggest changing the typical black background of the tier list with the background you had on your previous tier list videos. That way the video will be more eye-pleasing.

This list is pretty accurate. The only way for a list to be more accurate is to separate it by maps. With over 50 brawlers and counting, its hard to define a list by game modes or overall.

As someone who has played since beta and is also high in *(solo) power league,* here's a few things *I would change:* *Griff - Demote from B to C.* I even considered bumping him down to F - Griff is just very bad. Perhaps it's just my own experience with griffs, but griff is not reliable or high-damage enough to work right now. He does everything mediocre, which places him in a very bad spot right now. *Nita - up from C to B.* Nita is actually really good in maps with a lot of walls, where you can control lanes and still stay close. She deals great damage and her super is also really good against brawlers without splash, so she definitely deserves a higher spot. *Colonel Ruffs - Demote from B to C.* Much like Griff, my own personal experience with Ruffs is that he is quite bad. His damage isn't high enough, his shots aren't super easy to land, and also, he just doesn't provide much value outside of his super giving a boost to teammates. *Emz - up from B to A.* Was considering bumping emz straight to S - she is easily one of the best area controllers in the game, if not against throwers. In a game without throwers, having an emz on your team could mean a guaranteed win. A good emz player who can manage spacing is almost unstoppable unless you have throwers or can land really good snipe shots. *Jessie - up from B to A.* Jessie is really good, and the bounce shots give a ton of value in the right situations. Her turret also is so good on almost every single gamemode, and she is quite honestly one of the strongest long-range brawler in the game (categorized separate from glass cannons, like piper or bea). I am a Jessie main myself and don't find too many bad matchups in general. *Tara - up from A to S.* Tara is easily one of the best assassins in the game, especially with maps with lots of bushes that Tara can use to flank. She's especially dominant on gem grab and is in general an extremely well-rounded assassin brawler with insane damage and an even more insane super.

Brawlympics idea: every brawler uses two shots, one super and one gadget to do as much damage and healing as possible but with one of those attacs or heals they can affect an additional enemy/teammate. Whos damage and healing combined is more wies.

You have to practice movement. There's a movement style that if you get down, you can aa three shots at max range and hit at least 2. Also knowing where your opponent can move, usually in closed off spaces, and understanding the mechanic helps. Once you get it down, yes, he's a very easy brawler to AA with and is why at top PL he's banned every match.

Mr.P can be a decent counterpick, but the current meta just doesn't suit him, because it heavily favors aggro and P gets counteres by that. (His porters are fine)

Never thought I'd see the day so many of my favorites are high tier! Crow, Frank, Rosa, and Tara Gale, Collette and Dyna are a bit lower, but one thing I'm confused on for dyna, is that if he struggles with speed gears, he can just... destroy the bushes. Edit: Also Byron and Spike, but they have always been pretty darn good at what they do.

The reason dyna can't easily see destroy bushes with his super is because he needs to actually hit shots in order to get that super. As well as his super only destroys a decent chunk and on maps like snake prairie, sneaky fields and even hideout so they could still use the bush, hope this helped

@@reeveschoppa doesnt matter if you don't get all of the bushes, If you cut a chunk in half it becomes a lot easier. Getting first super is usually pretty easy in most gamemodes too, unless you are playing him heist for some reason. I generally play him in hotzone, which means bushes don't even exist where your opponents want to be.

At that level, whether bushes or not, dynas shots are fairly easy to predict and avoid, so no, him getting super early enough to destroy bushes is a rare occurence. Not just that, if all he does with his super is destroy bushes, he's making it more difficult for himself because he just wasted a super, which has a much greater chance of hitting opponents than his regular shot has. Either way, his utility is really what makes him viable at all. If he wasn't a thrower, he'd be F tier 100%

@@MrGamis Yeah pro players are going to be better at dodging. But since you bring up that topic, you are failing to remember that organized play makes covering your teamates much more consistent. Just have a teamate blowup the bush, or pick a teamate that wants to sit in that bush. You can dodge attacks from any brawler, the most basic concept in all of brawlstars is using your attacks to force enemy movement.

I'm honestly surprised Byron was only in A tier. He's very good at healing quickly and can do it from a long range, can do decent long-ranged damage to keep the pressure on enemies and can even win quite a few one-on-one situations because of his super.

I maxed out mortis to level 11 and upgraded all his gears to lvl 3 (My fav comp: Creepy harvest, survival shovel, damage and speed gear), he is great and I'm happy to see that he's in the a tier :D. Also I bought a golden skin for him, but idk if it wasn't a waste of gold, I didn't have any skin for him before.

I consider Spen's tier list to be more accurate than yours in terms of viability El Primo's viability has increased by a lot since his recent buff and is the comparatively second best tank out there i trust more on Spen's tier list as he was more knowledge towards the competitive meta than a normal casual and the points are provides are valid and logical the points you provided seems to more on preference the points you lay are good but seems very one sided brawlers can be strong and very viable if they are used for their mechanics as Ex : El primo may be considered a trash as he short range cant get super without damage but what you don't see is that he can be a threat with his super and thanks to recent buff and the trait can be played aggressively dying is a good pay of as since you have good health you require a lot of ammo to take down and when you receive your super you are even more of a threat every brawler has potential and i want you to analyze that to before making this tier other than that this is a great tier list. thanks for reading
