I just thought about it, you could kind of make a funky malygos priest deck with penance, holy smite, jepetto joybuzz, and of course malygos. Step 1. Jeppeto pulls malygos and sets him to 1 mana 2. Have 2 copies of penance and 2 copies of holy smite 3. Play malygos for 1 mana, both penance for 4 mana, and both holy smites for 2 mana. That’s a 7 mana combo - Malygos spell damage bonus (3+5) + (3+5) + (2+5) + (2+5) = 30 4. Win (if they don’t have armor) Hope you enjoy

Blatant Decoy could be a combo destroyer as well if there was a combo deck that relies on a cheap minion. It would bring out a fulle lowered Shirvalla for example so that you can kill it before it gets Baleful Bankered.

phalanx commander will be better than it seems. with just 1 taunt (which the enemy has to get through to kill it), it is already worth a yeti. not great, not terrible. if the opponent can kill the taunt but the commander stays up, the next taunt (speaking of taunt decks/warrior), will gain the effect, and it has given 2x2 attck already. thats worth. lets also not forget the "low attack high HP standoffs", when both players have taunt minions and are in no timely rush to get through them. they taunts often just sit opposing each other and nobody attacks. this card, just by existing, breaks that stalemate, you dont want your opponent to accumulate more taunts, as within a turn that can turn sour immediately. this makes taunt walls more dangerous and the opponent has to deal with them faster, even if theyre just 2/6s or 1/4s. itll be a great arena card, and will even find its way into some tier 2 decks, by definition thats a 3-4 star cards

rogue quest isn't only for control, and is like the easiest to complete... like turn 3-4 you could have completed it already. this for a +2 attack to your weapon and immune... sign me in! @@HighLanderPonyYT 2 Blink Foxes is literally half way done the quest, thats a 3/3 btw that can push face damage plus having a card from another class gives you that rush affect on that one card and a lot of other synergy. If anything I believe with this quest you can play more aggresively because if you don't win early game in the late game you can use that 3 weapon damage with immunity to kill all their big minions anyways.

@@HighLanderPonyYT you dont need to spend turns focusing on finishing the quest, the quest will complete itself while you just play your normal deck, most decks have their niche completed with 20 to 25 card and have 5 to 7 filler card to curve out, so instead of putting those filler you just put this one, and by turn 8 or 9 it should complete itself giving you a powerful effect, kripp is overstimating aggro, it always popular but there are very few instances where they just outright win by turn 5 or 6 and if they dont you probably get to turn 10 or 12 , so to speak, the quest its just and added bonus to wharever rouge deck you're playing, not giving you any significant inconvinience in your playstyle.

I would just play quest in regular tempo rogue. You already run Blink Fox, Hench Burglar, and you'll run the new Rogue spell that adds random non-Rogue spells to your hand, so you can finish the quest and use the weapon to help close out games or stay alive while looking for your Leeroy.

Rogue quest is easily good, your hero power becomes a fiery war axe with candleshot text. While fiery war axe was important for removing early game minions, I still see slotting in the quest draw card and it being a competitive deck. Maybe not the best rogue has to offer however.

The Vulpera Scoundrel's mystery choice doesn't actually take up one of the 3 discover choices. You get 3 discover options plus the mystery choice which is just any random spell. The mystery choice can be situationally useful if all the discover options are bad and you need to roll the dice (hence the artwork).

Elemental is great For Zephrys. You can tutor it with Sandbinder. Even if it's not on curve, Zephrys will get you what you need at any stage of the game. If you draw Sandbinder afrer wards, you hopefully already got the perfect job and you don't need a draw.

Also, Zephrys only offers classic and basic cards. The card pool won't go up with more expansions, but it can change if Blizzard rotates some of those card into the hall of fame and they replace the rotated cards.

Power creep is real boys! Shrinkmeister was a 2 mana 3/2 that gives 1 minion -2 attack for a turn, and was a class card! Quicksand Elemental hits all enemies and is neutral! Shrinky Dinks wild Priest is back! Can't wait to try it with Shadow Word Horror and Cabal Shadow Priest.

Pit Crocolisk might be good enough to be a late game minion in Quest Shaman. It's a potential 10 damage to the face to close out the game. Very powerful turn 10.

Regarding Faceless Lurker, I don't even think it's ok. Fen Creeper if I'm not mistaken is a sub par arena card, and Faceless Lurker is basically that card where the extra health stats can be silenced.

Pit Crocolisk is better than it seems- it's not a spell, so it can target characters that are immune (not terribly common, I admit, but can still sometimes show up and be really annoying if you don't happen to have an answer when it does).

With the hunter quest it isn't tied to beasts which I think is important. Do minions that spawn minions count as summoning? Pokey, Pinchy? There are a lot of cards that split up

Rogue Ancient Blade > Hero quest is op. It's so easy for them to finish that quest within the first 5 turns and bam! extra damage and board clear while immune = OP, even for fast decks.

Pit crocolisk is very good in arena. Slightly more expensive neutral firelands portal with a guaranteed 5/6 vs random bad 5 drops from firelands. Its guns be the arena fiend that was bonemare at the start

Compare Pit Crocolisk to Deep Sea Kraken, one less Mana for two more damage is really good, smaller body but you usually used Kraken in arena for the battlecry to remove something anyway.

Quicksand Elemental : Great for holding out against the Murloc Shaman that will be everywhere, and at least adequate against any deck that actually has a reasonable number of minions in it, will be useful more often than not, although playing it on curve will probably be a waste almost always. Kinda weird card

I think you misunderstood the Vulpera Scoundrel, I think you'll have to instantly choose what you want to do before you see the options, like with raven idol. Meaning choose either a normal discover OR a random card ...... thats pretty bad.

Yeah, but only takes into account the board, not your hand. That means, if your opponent has 8 Health and you have Frostbolt you need to use it before playing Zephyr or he won't get you the Fireball you crave

The dream for the new hunter deck is, u don’t trigger ur quest until u play zuljin first, then let ur spells trigger that summons minions, it will also help u to complete the quest. Once the quest is complete, the new hero power can replace zuljins one
