Must admit I don't like electric cookers, virtually always had gas. Totally agree April about not stopping things from boiling over on electric hobs. Apparently putting in a wooden spoon or similar is supposed to help from boiling over. I've got my slow cooker on, great things.

April has to have a routine really,,she works full time,cares for 2 dogs 🐕..so things have to be done when possible with the little spare time she has. April shows us,"part"of her life. P s ..glad you've got a slow cooker,you can do yourself some nice homemade meals,&spread them out,even freezing some if you wanted...especially over the wkend..take noo notice of silly comments,,you just do you.🫶

Ive seen a video of someone putting oil round the rim ha ... with a papwr towel .. stipa over boiling apparently. With potatoes i as aoon as its bouling turn heat down to say 4 and theyll just simmer nicely with the lid on
