It's basically equivalent to increasing a skills %. So a basic 100% skill with 20% pierce is equivalent to a 120% skill with 0% pierce and a 100% Pierce skill would be equivalent to a 160% basic skill (x3).

Crit chance = chance you will crit Crit Resist= amount of crit chance that is reduced by Crit defense-Amount crit dmg will be reduced E.g 200% Crit dmg , enemy has 60% crit defense. Your crit dmg is now reduced to 140%.

To be honest though I'm not certain he got it right, as it's been explained to me, it's almost equivalent to increase the skill %, not decreasing DR; nothing in GC but defence debuffs reduce DR.

Great thanks, I already understood everything. However I did like the way you explained everything. With the crit defense, try explaining it like this. 'My opponent deals 7000 damage and crits for 3000. My crit defense is 30% which reduces that extra 3000 damage to 2000. So the total amount of damage I'll receive is only 9000, because I'll still receive all of the 7000 damage but a reduced crit damage of 2000 due to my crit defense.'

i got 6 question regarding critical. first, i got matrona with 150%crit chance. if i hit enemy with 50% crit resistance, will matrona got 75%crit chance (150% halved) or 100%crit chance (150%-50%). second, my matrona crit damage is 300%, if the attack didnt crit it deals 10kdamage, so if it is crit will it do 30kdamage right (10k base damage +20k critical)? third, the same matrona (300% crit dmg) hit your gowther in the video who has 50% crit defense, so the damage gowther take is 20k(10k base damage + 10k from 20k crit damage halved by 50% crit defense)? (Y/N) fourth, if yout gowther is equiped with 3 set of crit defense (+120% crit defense) so the crit def will be 170%. will the 70% useless? (Y/N) fifth. or crit defense is flatly decreasing the crit damage? so if the same matrona 10k damage with 300%crit damage hit gowther with 50%crit def, the damage dealt to gowther is 250% instead of 200%? sixth so if the gowther have 170% crit defense, the matrona with 300% crit damage will only dealt 130% damage? the matrona will only hit 100% damage cos the crit def above 100% is useless? i hope u answer this thanks

Bro, I learnt the meaning of the stats from this video some months ago, I still remember it all except regeneration and recuperation, which is why I'm here again, and even as someone who knows what the stats mean, especially defense, resistance, pierce rate, crit defense, crit resistance, all of these stats still give me a headache lol, they couldn't make any harder mechanics could they? Resistance is a multiplier for defence that's all, so it's best to have almost equal, but as you can get more res from substats, picking that where can may yield more DR. Non-crit DR = flatdefense * (1 + defense%) * (1 + resistance + Colour Bonus).

I'm told it only effects the character who has it, so it won't effect how much a unit heals others. Though I haven't tested myself. Quite a shame for healers, as that would be very powerful.

Hi I have a question if you could be so kind to answer. For example, my howzer is currently at 65% pierce rate. His skill 'Rising storm' increases his pierce rate by 3 times which means his pierce rate is at 195 percent. As you explained, the percentage of pierce rate is how much it negates defence meaning that 100% pierce rate negates all defence, does that mean the 95% extra pierce rate is useless?

Nomally If you deal 100K you will lifesteal for 10k. With 20% additional recovery rate, you will lifesteal for 12k

Not everything he said is currently correct. Your chance to crit is: your (Crit-chance - their Crit-Res) and you crit damage is your damage X (Crit-damage - their Crit-defence). Your card skills is the give % + your pierce or + 3 x Pierce for Pierce skills, like on blue Meli. Resistance multiplies your defence value and stacks with the colour bonuses; so you can think of the colours as +/- 20% Resistance.

@@harry3491 You only get more stats from associated heroes if you level their ULT, so if you have a 1/6 unit, it’s 5% buff, 2/6 is 6%, and 6/6 is 10% This is pretty much the only use for SRs and Rs, unless they bring back their buff in PVP
