I love this. I mean, look how much voicework was added here! Around 10 minutes of dialogue. It adds so much character and uniqueness. I know not every killer is suited for being as talkative as Chucky but I think if there was more voices for some of the characters, it would make the game so much more interesting.

@@andreitgk4748 Absolutely. Part of the problem, I think, is that the version of Freddy in the game is based on the 2010 *remake*, not the original. Even so, if they could get Robert Englund and work out the licensing, having a fully-voiced Freddy would make him 100 times more fun to play.

Lemme explain, Dbd contacted the owners of the mask since that belongs to a shop/toy company and got the rights through them, not the movie studio that owns the IP of the character ghost face. So the license is just a killer with a ghost face

Gotta say I REALLY love how many voice lines Chucky got. Lines like “Don’t fuck with the Chuck!” and “How’s it hanging?” Which are references to the movies are fun but I just as much like the original lines like “I’m gonna break that flashlight over your freakin’ head” and “I got a real fun game with hooks, you’re gonna love it!” just as much. I do kind of wish there were maybe a couple more reference lines “nobody leaves me, NOBODY” would’ve been great for a survivor escape, but I’m just nitpicking. I’m glad Chucky is getting so much fanfare in DBD.

For anyone wondering why Chucky himself is so powerful as a small doll its because the Damballa Voodoo Magic lets him keep his human strength even in a small body AKA He has the strength of a full grown man hence why he can lift heavy weapons like an Axe and Yardstick.
