Actually, All-Clad is higher priced....by a little more than $400 for the same 10 pc 5-ply stainless set.

I just bought 2 viking frying pans and they all discolored after 1st mild use. half of the top surface turned brown. I spent 2 hour with barkeepers friend to clean them. and I returned them. my all-clad is much much easier to clean and they have never discolor after three years. I will never buy a Viking again.

China has the newest steel mills and factories on the planet..... Quality is all about the standard one demands in the finished product and the supply chain issue from the pandemic reflect that..... The Import Export shift happened in the Middle to Late 70s as USA shifted manufacturing to Ouside USA to save paying Union Wages and Benefits. But go on keep crying about where something is made at. The Elected Elderly who allowed the Outsourcing in the 1st Place are ALL EARS

I have Viking pots and skillets for years and they look like new. I use them daily. You must not know how to properly use and clean your cookware.
