Plus they didn’t return to paradis straight away after killing Eren, and returned only 3 years later to discuss peace. Probably cuz they would get killed right away. In addition, in the ending it was also said that the yeagerists formed a new government or something and they were still in power.

@@yerro504 well, Floch was the leader of them and the yeagerists are bunch of soldiers and some new unexperienced soldiers who just completed their training and some people who were supporting Eren and both Eren and Floch are now dead and there’s no commander no captain no leader to lead both the people and the yeagerists, there’s only the queen Historia and she is probably the one who in charge of everything and she is going to hire new leaders and commanders for their new yeagerists military, cause there’s no way in hell that bunch of soldiers and some regular people who gonna lead Paradise

Right before Dhalis Zachary (the premier) got assassinated, we can see that even the people supported Eren (and basically the yeagerists) because they believed Eren would save them. Knowing that the rumbling got stopped, and Floch and a whole bunch of soldiers are now dead, they can put two and two together that Armin and his buddies probably stopped them. Maybe a few soldiers will listen to armin as the commander, but the people will surely be angry that the rumbling stopped prematurely. Also, the new military was established after eren was killed and the rumbling stopped. Which means historia wasn’t able to prevent it and lost support of the people. There’s no use to have a royal family anymore anyway. The only thing legitimating “Royal blood” was the power of the titans, and it was just eradicated.
