AI Challenge Idea: Several immortal AI characters, last one alive wins. Put them all in the same De Jure Empire so they might fight eachother.

Good idea but when I tried this once (4 immortal characters starting in the edges of the map) all of them killed themself eventually because their stress level went through the roof. I think that chellenge only works if you somehow stop them from accumulating stress over the centuries

I’m going to guess India due to the development meaning it’s possible for them to get a single heir inheritance law passed. That’s going to be the big one: not letting your empire split up.

Before watching the videos my guess would be Byzantion. The Byzantium bonus which comes from constantinople is that they have a 1000+ levies garrison.... so yeah, thats pretty good

Just some honest feedback: You showed a lot of details in the first few years, then only the major events, and then skipped from when there where still 4 large empires to the end of the game - even though that last part probably would have been the most interesting...

Indian realms seem to randomly alternate between being called by their de jure name and the name of the dynasty holding it upon succession. Not sure why the game does it, but that's most likely where the "Parivi" name comes from.

It depends on if their muslim or not, as muslim rulers seem to auto name their holdings after their dynasty

I think bizantines have emmerged not only because of good cities, but also because they start with primogeniture. It really helps!

The title of Byzantine empire starts with primogeniture installed by default, but if you were to f.e go down to partition (for whatever reason) you wouldn't be able to put it back up to primo since you'd lack tech. Given this byzantine was created and not started created, it was using partition (or whatever their tech allows them to) it's just that dejure byzantine empire is pretty big and they didn't conquer enough outside of their dejure for confederate partition to fuck them over.

Actualy statistically it's most likely to be an african guy somewhere around Mali. I mean they have 3 mines in pretty close proximity. If any ruler gets them all, that's a surefire win. Can't beat being richer than god after all.

I don't know why you were surprised about Europe not snowballing into duchies and kingdoms quickly. It's obvious: In central and western Europe, you have a lot of rulers who already start as feudal (so they need a casus belli) and are all of the same religion, so they can't holy war each other. If you broke all of them up into counties, I guess they didn't start with claims either and fabricating claims costs a lot of gold that most 1 county realms without late game upgrades take a loooong time to make.
