As I watched this scene, I told my wife these actors are incredibly devoted to their craft to get so intimate with these large animals. The use of the prosthetic was totally believable. Well done, cast & crew! Love this series! It’s truly magical!

I’ve never loved a series MORE than I do All Creatures Great and Small and I have been watching Masterpiece since it began! Well Done, Cast and Crew! My sunshine on a rainy day.

More than the reboot of Poldark?
@31Alden2 жыл бұрын
@@valeriegriffith5409 Hands down. Not that I didn’t love Poldark Redux. I did. No comparison to how my heart sings with each episode of All Creatures Great and Small, however. Re: Poldark reboot: I was always questioning whether Ross’s love (and desire) was for Elizabeth versus Demelza. The original Poldark in the 70s never made me doubt or question Ross’s love (and lust) for Demelza.

@@31Alden I really don't think I can truly choose just one series from Masterpiece. I love 1995 Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth. The glamor and historical timeline of Downtown Abbey. The ethical and moral clarity of Grandchester. The intelligence and empathy of Luther as he chases monsters and tries to make the world around him Right. Prime Suspect where I first saw a woman be a MF Badass. I just was so empathetic to see a world full of Sexism and misogyny that she had to navigate. I even loved Halifax. Truly been loving Endeavor, the origin story of CDI Morse. I think you love All Creatures, because it harks back to a simpler time, the beauty of the Dells, the animals and a good old fashion love story, that slowly burns.

Now, instead of waking up on Sunday mornings, thinking, “Oh, it’s work tomorrow,” I wake up thinking, “Oh! All Creatures Great and Small tonight!” What a wonderful series. Thank you.

I'm glad that Samuel West disclosed the information about the prosthetic horse. I've been wondering about those kinds of scenes since I started watching the series. I would think, "I hope they're using an animatronic animal or something for that scene." thank you

This is without a dought one of the very best TV shows ever made. Its a feel good TV show. TV Gold 🥇Roll on season 3.

Yes, using a prosthetic just shows the depth of the actors' skills in that we believe they are working with a live animal when it's a prop. Bravo!

This scene was and is one of my absolute favourites. The worry you feel when you hear what's wrong, the hope you feel when you see them trying to fix it and the joy you feel when the foal is born and everything is right with the world again. Really is just magical.

Why are we getting behind the scenes stuff for this show from an American KZbin channel but not a British one when the show is made out here? Either way, thanks PBS.

And there are some bonus scenes in the PBS episodes. It's unfair to us, the European viewers.
