I'm ever so grateful to your talents. During this pandemic, I'm using your voices to lead the singing via Zoom to our church of Christ, who is singing along in their homes.

Thank you! Comments and Suggestions: 1) create a free webpage and create an index of links of your KZbin hymns 2: upload the solos of each part (SATB) to help amateurs like me rehearse my part :)

Wonderful singing; thank you for sharing this hymn. It's one I've never heard before but picked out of my second hand hymnal to learn today if I could find a musical teacher to assist. Happy day! You even had two bonus stanzas that my hymnal didn't have. I've copied them down. Playing again to sing along this time.

Thanks for this one, brother! It was fantastic to hear this hymn and for sure this one has become one of my top 3 hymns! A must learn one! Really liked the tone of this one, not so high and quite easy to sing with beautiful harmonics. Don't ya think, Elliot? Btw, it's precious to see the messages that each hymn has and how they're really inspired by the Spirit and how He, through the lyrics, touches our hearts and makes us delight in hearing once and once again these beautiful hymns and never get tired of what the words of say... So much truth, so much heart-felt lyrics, so much peace for our souls... It's so sad to see how many assembles/churches are preferring the "contemporary Christian music" and how they're leaving apart the hymnals and losing the blessings inside each hymn, focusing more on worldy rhythms that satisfies the flesh and not the spirit and, worst of all, it's even more sadder how they're being in willful disobedience with what The Scriptures says about how has to be our worship in His House. We need to appreciate more the great privilege of praising Him with the music that He by His Spirit inspired our brothers and sisters (and keep inspiring them, ofc) for He to be praised with that. How great are His thoughts and how perfect is His will towards us. We've got not enough words to praise him enough!!

This hymn was performed at the beginning of Jim Henson's memorial service at St. Paul's Cathedral in London on July 2, 1990.

Very interesting. I remember where I was when I heard of his passing, complications of pneumonia, I believe was the stated cause of his death. The Muppets are just not the same without him, especially Kermit the Frog.

Hi Elliot. Haven't been able to talk in a while, but I hope things are going well for you. This is one of my favorites, but it is so difficult for people to catch on to, for some odd reason. I guess thats what makes it a good song. Hope things hear back soon!
@trevj32886 жыл бұрын
A Cappella Hymns Wow, that's really intelligent of you to say!! I've heard of such thing, but never really have looked into it. I am good at music, but I'm astonished at your wisdom in that! People have a hard time working out singing new songs, especially if a congregation isn't used to it. I've been teaching new songs here and there, hopefully soon they'll catch on to it.

A Cappella Hymns Well thank you I will definitely go to you for questions! Yes you're not kidding about flower arrangements. There's one person in particular who I would call a "preachers pet" who never will change the flowers because the preacher likes them. Hopefully they'll change just like learning new songs!

This sounds like a barber shop quartet lol

It being four male voices, it does sound a bit like it. But usually barber shop harmonies are written a bit different.
