ALL DAY CELEBRATION @ Disney’s ANIMAL KINGDOM 25th Birthday! Riding OG Rides & Enjoying Park History

Disney’s Animal Kingdom turned 25 on 4/22/23 & since we both love this theme park, we wanted to do more than just show some merch & try some food. We rode all of the opening day rides that have stood the test of time, & I’m pointing out some park history & fun facts along the way! Plus yes….. some merch, food, and special characters.
This theme park is my absolute favorite for so many reasons. It meant the world to me to be here on this really special day and share this with you all. We spent all day at this beautiful park enjoying its beauty, having fun, and just celebrating theme park history! I hope you all enjoy!💚

I am SO HAPPY you were able to experience Animal Kingdom in such a way. Definitely a once in a lifetime kinda thing. And you got to do it! It's such a Wonderful time of life to look back on. Same park but you and Tampa Jay handled your videos completely different. Both did a steller job. And if you love vegetation and nature, and I do, this is the park to go to. That’s so cool the fact that you got to experience the park before it opened to the public! Your mom and you being cast members is just so special! My connection with the OG Animal Kingdom has to do with the original group of gorillas at the park. They came from the zoo I was a keeper at in Chicago. I hope, some day, I can make it there. It’s truly a beautiful park.❤

We found the Conservation Station on our first trip to Animal Kingdom. Very few people were there at all. What a great hidden gem!! That was my favorite part of our Disney trip that time!

Thank you so much for showing what Animal Kingdom offers. I was there in 1995 when they were building it. They were working in the Tree of life. I had no clue they had all the awesome behind the scenes and the other things. Disney vloggers just never do a complete video. Only the rides and tree of life get shown. One I hope to go back and see Animal Kingdom.

Hi Chris, Melbourne was fantastic!. We went to the Brevard Zoo and I got to see alligators, parrots, meerkat, kangaroos. Very nice and fantastic zoo. Also wadded in the Atlantic Ocean. Ate at the Rock River restaurant. Had the red snapper. Very delicious. Saw one of the falcon yest rockets from my friends house and later felt it. And just hung around my friends beautiful house watching the water fowl around the lake by her house. She and her mother live in an over 55 community that have big beautiful houses. Had to return back to 40 degree Denver on earth day. Next time I visit her I want to see Animal Kingdom. Great Video!❤

My husband vlad and I love this park too, we are both animal lovers. Usually don’t go on rides there although this time we might. It’s just a great park to hang out and relax. We are on our countdown to our trip east to Orlando and I can’t wait!

Haven’t been out to WDW in a while, hubby has had severe leg issues last few years, but maybe one day! So Thank you for the trip😎AK is just So pretty and def the Most relaxing park! MK has become a nightmare from what I see🥴 I still can’t believe they charge guests Xtra to assure a ride these days, oh how things have changed, I’ve been visiting since 1971🤪

I also visited AK before it officially opened. I was at WDW for a week March 1998 and AK had a soft opening while I was there. AK is my favorite park, just love to walk around it.

Very cool walkaround. That park has grown. The last time I was there the safari ride had a poacher storyline as you mentioned. Now I need to go back and check it out again. Thanks for sharing the experience.

Yay! Congrats on becoming an annual Passholder! If time permits we can meet in the parks when we visit now. 🖤 I had no idea that you can go into the parks after 2pm during the week except MK! That's cool. It smells of farts because of the tunnels beneath memba? It was the trash area 🤢 Connections reminded me of a Modern Target. I used to go to play in the parks before work too. Boy I wouldn't be able to do that these days lol. Love the succulent covered Figment! Oh my goodness, I need to try the Golden Fox, it sounds so good. I took a picture with Pooh in Christopher Robins Room during my college program. Shame it's used as storage now :( That's delightful 😂 I've gone to Biergarten and you're right, lots of food but the show is sooo good. So happy for you!

My mom was not a cm. I am the mom lol! This park opening was before marriage and kids. Long time ago. I again became PT and CT when my kiddos were little. Such great cm benefits and as a poor social worker we really could not afford raising 3 kiddos plus SeaWorld and Universal season passes so Disney was my contribution to my family.
