Love your fiddle leaf fig! A lot of people say they struggle with them, but I never had any problems with mine. Make sure you leave it in front of that window. They LOVE light and don't really like to be moved to different spots. They'll start to drop leaves. Stay consistent with how often you water. Sometimes I notice my leaves will lay down a little and I know it's time to water. I can usually go 2 weeks between watering. I water until the water runs out of the pot and then drain the excess. I've heard some people say they use less water but they water more often. I tried that once but I started to get brown spots on a couple of leaves. I think for mine, that wasn't enough water so I prefer to water thoroughly, but less often. Good luck!

JAWS Hardwood Floor cleaning spray is the best I've used and I use to help my mom clean houses. I use a cup of hot water with a drop or two of dawn detergent 💙💙

Yes the barstools are pretty comfortable to be backless and wooden. I like that it keeps the space a little more open but I’m definitely not against backs on barstools:) love both!

A tip tell the kids to organize their shoes and their toys

Fiddle leaf care - keep it in it’s nursery pot (plastic container) until you see roots coming out of the bottom holes. do this always for all houseplants. sit the existing container in a decorative container, but do not repot until it outgrows the nursery pot. do not over water! let it go almost completely dry between waterings. buy a moisture meter off amazon to determine when it needs watering or just lift the container. if light - water, if heavy - don’t. and fiddles like a lot of indirect bright light. their leaves burn if too bright. lastly, do not move it once it begins to thrive in ur home, only rotate the pot 1/4 with each watering. fiddles are very finicky and they do not like to be moved. and make sure it’s not near a heat/ac vent. they are testy for sure! a leaf or two drop is expected when you bring them home so don’t freak. but too many leaves is indication that this ficus is not happy! xoxo
