I do appreciate that even though Dr fetus is a jerk to meatboy and others he's a lot more dialed back with nugget, he's not exactly gentle with her but he does seem aware that nuggets a baby. And while he doesn't like what she does he puts up with it which is kinda nice to see even though he's a massive jerk otherwise given that nobody loves him. (established in the first game and probably why he spites meatboy so much) He probably doesn't think others should necessarily go unloved deep down, and you somewhat see that through his interactions with nugget as the game goes on.

Despite the fact that Nugget is the child of his enemy, Fetus is still TRYING to treat Nugget condescendingly, this is a very interesting detail... I sometimes think, what if Meat Boy and Dr Fetus became friends? Like, Nugget could make them friends and Fetus would become like a family friend, that would be cool.
