Welcome to Part 18 of my Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom playthrough! I spent about 50 hours of the game without unlocking my camera (whoops, was kinda easy to miss imo), so I couldn't do anything with the geoglyphs! Figured it was far past time to go unlock all those dragon's tear memories and may as well do so in chronological order. Hope you enjoy :)

its more tragic for zelda since she was a dragon waaaaaay longer than 1000 years. the great calamity happened 10,000 years ago. the events we see happen in the past take place waaaaaaay before that. shes been a dragon for 10s of thousands of years

Tears of the kingdom takes place 3 or so years after botw. The calamity happened 100 years prior to Botw.(link being asleep for 100 years Rijus mom being Urbosa, etc) I can see why people say 10,000 years and some change because 10,000 years prior to totk was when this Ganondorf was sealed by Rauru.

@@LeoneLaTwerk2 the great calamity was 10,000 years ago. It's the one shown in the tapestry with the unknown hero. Calamity Ganon then reemerged 100 years before breath of the wild

Since Zelda becomes a dragon during the age of hyrules founding, that could mean that sh s a dragon in every Zelda game before breath of the wild. It could also be the reason why every princess in hyrule is named Zelda

Ah, sorry to burst your bubble, but a lot of evidence seems to imply that this Hyrule was founded long after the rest of the games. It's just been so long since then that no one remembers the old Hyrule. Only stories and _legends_ remain. It's the only way the timeline makes sense.

@@coopinatormusic6214 Alternatively, BotW/TotK may take place from a timeline split born from Skyward Sword. Specifically when SS Link destroyed Demise in the past. Skyward Sword past-->BotW/TotK Skyward Sword Present--> All other Zelda Games

I have to say sometimes I am jealous of people who can break or cry during games or movies/tv-shows. No matter how strong the feeling sad or happy which I do have ofc during those moments, I never cried during those moments as long as I can remember. And no I don’t say that to drag, my body just doesn’t do that lol❤

They're in the founding era of Hyrule, the war mentioned in BOTW is the First Calamity - where they fight against the first incarnation of the Calamity with the Hero's Aspect and the other Tan Zelda (not to be confused with Sonia). The Imprisoning war is where they seal the Demon King.

The creators of this game are massive trolls, given that Zelda is the dragon you see at the very start of the game, as you dive down towards the Temple of Time. How cruel of them, to taunt us with that...

Also in the logo the bottom half of the master sword is a dragon, they literally put it in our faces the whole time
