@Rasmus Holmstedt the timeline is important here. They only started assisting their neighbors after the battle of stalingrad. Before that they rejected calls for help and even censored them. Also, training foreign forces and allowing other countries to land and resupply on your territory isn't exactly neutral, they just switched to support the new dominant powers. That's why even Sweden called itself non-belligerent instead of neutral.

But I would draw the line when countries give up the sovereignty over their own territory. Switzerland was always ready to defend itself and they actually took down a dozen Nazi planes that entered Swiss airspace in the Battle of France.
