Just a note from a fellow fan. Not every vlog has to be 100% positive. I truly appreciate you being vulnerable and sharing both your victories and struggles/losses with us, do not force yourself into forced positivity. I truly hope that you bounce back, best of luck to you both, greetings from Poland

Love these vlogs when you get a chance to show us what it is like behind the scenes. Love the chinese learning lessons with Zheng over nice food. Tough, tough loss, felt for both of you having to give some thoughts minutes after the match. Try to keep your heads up as the fans are right behind you on your next match!

I think the Grey looks quite good, less like it's trying to imitate grass than the green. I think a wood colour might be even better, though. Or actually use a high spec wooden court.

I suspect the floors are sprung anyway, the court mat is used to provide a consistent playing surface between tournaments.

Big big respect for showing the interview of you both right after the match and let everybody see from your faces, how disappointed you were. That is true sportmanship. Its No strength to hold your face into the camera after a win, but in this case: simply great. You can be very proud of your honest, transparent and loveable delivery of the spirit of the game. True idols❤

Good video, I used to live in Birmingham so walking around the Mailbox and Brindley Place brought back some memories, the former NIA Arena appears to have been renamed. As ever class act. I knew it would be a very tough match, as it turned out could have gone either way. The fact is you have been super close. It would not be possible to argue there was a real possibility of you winning too. Side note: sent a message to Victor Axelsen also gutted out of the tournament you guys both share same sporting ethic. The way you deal with adversity, honest, tough and then onwards. Keep going guys.

before i saw your post i'd looked up your results in BWF and saw you lost in a tight match with your compatriots ellis& smith. my immediate thought was, omg you guys are the heartbreak kids. and there it was in the promo plastered across your youtube vid, 'heartbreak'. of course you feel devastated right after the match, but being the total pros you are, you also know regardless of wins/losses it's just a process, and the champion is in for the whole ride. you guys are champs and so are ellis/smith-- it looks like all 4 of you played a good match. bounce back you shall and i'm not alone looking forward to seeing where the ride takes you next. keep up the great work
