Regarding the energy, or radiation used by Godzilla in the films, I have a theory about it. There are 3 types of this energy: 1: the one that looks like lava (seen in KOTM), which would be used as a form of food by the titans, and which gives their physical attributes. 2: The blue energy, found in the hollow Earth, and which would be the energy used to give the unique elements in each titan (in the gojiras, for example, the atomic breath) 3: The pink energy, which would be the "advanced" form of energy, which would take the titan to its "peak". (Remember, it's just my theory).

I always like to add context when discussing Godzilla vs Ghidorah in Boston from the novel. In the novel Godzilla was dominating Ghidorah most of the Boston fight. The novel explain that Ghidorah even tried to run but Godzilla damaged his wings and also Godzilla damaged his scales to the point he could regenerate UNTIL he drained power from the city.

Which is why they gave Kong & Godzilla their 1 on 1 with no interruptions. The novel was descriptive and the movie couldn’t have possibly given that impression when it didn’t show Ghidorah’s wing visibly injured from him trying to flee twice.

Third in itself isn't an evolution, but what comes after it is, and it combines with the Fourth Evo as it continues to improve on the previous Evo and it's abilities. Godzilla likely does evolve from every battle that has brough it difficulty in being able to succeed in taking it's opponent down. If the opponent brought Godzilla to a near death experience or made Godzilla struggle in the battle than it will force itself to evolve through absorbing more radiation like it did before to grow and grant itself new capabilities based on it's previous battles and results. At some point Godzilla will evolve so far that nothing on Earth or outside of it will be able to take it down, as it reaches it's ultimate form, which doesn't mean it's the final form, it simply means it's so strong that there is no use in continuing to evolve as there is nothing to challenge that form and beat it.

Being it's own radiation powerplant really helps a lot too.

His 5th evolution could have a simpler explanation, its not Godzilla, its Space-Godzilla, he has most of his characteristics, (Spiked Tail, Armored eyebrows, Pink Crystals on his back, and all over his body) in the trailer a lone, you can see he is constantly evolving, and more and more crystals are growing on him, at first he looks like our Godzilla, just pink, but then the crystals start growing, and you can see them a few seconds later in the trailer that he now has a more spiked face, as if crystals are forming under his skin around his cheek bones, he also has long sharp crystals forming on his outter forearm (can be seen when he is running with Kong), and he now has crystals forming over his eyebrows which also glow when he powers up. The Godzilla we see in the trailer, is Not our Godzilla, and I think Kong will realize that at the end.

What might have happened is the immense pressure of the ocean might have contained the plasma and forced it to implode rather than explode thus infusing with G-man more than Castle Bravo.

Maybe that, but mostly stronger opponents, the stronger and tougher they are to beat, the more likely for Godzilla to evolve his form to counter them better in the future on his own and be able to take them down easily or any other being that challenges him near that level, it's also caused by absorbing radiation in huge quantities before or after a battle.

I finally saw Godzilla Minus One yesterday along with Napoleon. Best Godzilla film ever made but... it may NOT be my favorite Godzilla film ever made. I had some pacing issues with it. Some parts, I was almost falling asleep. I wasn't completely engaged to the story and we see Godzilla pretty quickly. No waiting 30+ minutes for him to show up and tear shit up. We see him within 5 minutes. Within 15 minutes, I started thinking Minus One makes a perfect double feature with Oppenheimer the way Sofia Coppola's Priscilla is complementary to Baz Luhrmann's Elvis. In Oppenheimer, we only saw it from the American perspective. We didn't even see the attack. Minus One is coming from the Japanese POV but post-WW2 during the atomic bombs' aftermath. Godzilla is a metaphor to the atomic bombs on Hiroshima/Nagasaki the same way King Kong is a metaphor to African slavery. We should've got Oppenzilla. Godheimer or Zillaheimer sounds weird and Oppenheimer did come out first. It's true that this film is more of a modern remake to the 1954 film and not the kaiju fighting films that would come out after the original classic and were basically used to help sell kaiju toys. So my FAVORITE Godzilla film remains... Godzilla vs. Kong (2021). It's not better than Minus One by any means. The human characters in Minus One are much better developed. I probably like Noriko more than any human character who appeared in GvK. But GvK is more rewatchable and more fun. I prefer the fun Godzilla films over the more serious Godzilla ones we got in 1954, 2014, and 2023. I'm starting to think Godzilla is one of my top 10 favorite movie characters ever. I knew him before I ever saw Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, and Star Wars. I'm aware he's the big bad monster in Minus One like he was in the 1954 film. And the Legendary one is more a protector of Earth like he's the Anakin of kaijus bringing balance to order and chaos. Godzilla rules! I'm loving my Hiya KOTM figure. The beige/copper on it doesn't look good in KZbin videos, but in real life, they look fine especially under direct sunlight. I corrected the head enough that the gap is barely noticeable. It's not a flawless figure anyway. The largest dorsal plate isn't 100% aligned to the dorsal plates below it. What can you expect from plastic toys made in China? Like 99% of the general population would not notice the flaws if I never said anything. Say I sold my KOTM to get the Hiya GvK V2, who is to say that won't be flawed either? And it's not like I'm planning to sell it for profit. It's there just for display and it already lost most of it's value once it's out of the box. What I need now is for Hiya to make a Minus One Godzilla. Make it half the size of my KOTM to get the right scale for it, same articulation as the MonsterVerse ones, splash some brown color on it, and I'm good. The Bandai is decent but I don't want it to be only gray as the color. I'm starting to understand the addiction collecting Godzilla toys. I will say that I may now prefer the Legendary Godzilla over any other Godzilla design and this includes Minus One and I wasn't a fan of it initially but getting the Hiya figure helped me like it more. Minus One has a head closer to a T-Rex shape but he moves slowly like he does in the Toho films. He moves very stiff. I find Minus One Godzilla to be rather weak since this is a throwback to 1954 when he was half the size as MonsterVerse G19/G21 and this doesn't involve the kaiju fighting with other titans. It really wasn't difficult to defeat Godzilla in Minus One. KOTM/GvK Godzilla would steamroll over Minus One Godzilla since he weighs 4x heavier and is 230 feet taller. So I guess my favorite Godzilla film and Godzilla design now comes from Legendary. I may not have the urge to buy a Minus One figure anymore although I do find his dorsal plates to look really good. I expect GxK to have Kong getting wounded by Skar King and then coming to Godzilla for help to battle him and Shimu. Big G returns the favor after Big K helped him defeat Mechagodzilla. Godzilla (1998) You know if I saw the 1998 Godzilla again and just pretend it's a different creature, I don't think I would hate it that much. It's a monster/disaster movie a decade before Cloverfield where you see this large creature destroy Manhattan. Favorite Godzilla Designs 1. KOTM/GvK (2019/2021) 2. Godzilla (2014) 3. Godzilla Minus One (2023) 4. Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah (1991) 5. Godzilla: Final Wars (2004) Honestly, I haven't seen enough Godzilla films to be a great judge at it. All I know is I prefer the Legendary/MonsterVerse design the most when I initially didn't like it. Getting the Hiya figure helped. I know some prefer the 2014 one as it's better proportioned but I prefer the larger dorsal plates on the 2019/2021 ones and no longer mind the smaller head. We also got the Showa roar back by 2019. KOTM and GvK are essentially the same with a few minor tweaks. The 2014 was Godzilla at his weakest state. Minus One might have the coolest spine as his largest dorsal plates look like shurikens and he looks more menacing being the Jaws/Jurassic Park dinosaurs of this film, but he's not that powerful. Terrifying and powerful are two different things. It seems very easy to defeat him being smaller and slower. He still moves like he did in '54. Didn't like his roar either. Favorite Godzilla Fight: Godzilla vs. Kong Favorite Godzilla Roar: Showa (esp 1962) Favorite Godzilla Rubber Suits: Hensei Rewatching King Kong vs. Godzilla (1962), I didn't realize how awful both Kong and Godzilla looked. As a kid from the 80s, it doesn't register until you get older and see more Godzilla movies. Godzilla had this Oscar the Grouch muppet look in '62. Kong looked much worse. An extremely ugly gorilla costume. But Godzilla 1962 does have my all-time favorite roar. If I decided to get more Godzilla figures, I would only get one for Minus One, the 1991 GvKG, and Final Wars. The SH Monsterarts for G91 looks awesome! One of the best figures I've seen of him. But I'm very happy with the Hiya KOTM being it's already my favorite design and GvK being my favorite movie with him. GvK had more epic fights than anything I saw from Captain America: Civil War. Godzilla's height 2019/2021: 394 ft 2014: 354 ft 1991/1995/2004: 328 ft 1954/1975/2023: 164 ft Godzilla can pretty much kill any of the largest dragons in Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, and any dragon before HOT D starts. Just swinging his tail alone would cripple Balerion and Vhagar. But Godzilla would be a featherweight to Superman who can probably throw him into outer space.

The color of plasma is not based on it's temperature, it's based on the materials creating the plasma. Because air is primarily nitrogen, it ionizes purple. Humans have never even seen something that burns hot enough to give natural purple light. Even R136a1 was blue and it was somewhere around 53,000 kelvin. And no, the Brookhaven experiment doesn't count because we can't see something that burns at 4 trillion Celsius.

I believe the leaner look with longer arms/legs..etc is response to King Kongs agile movements. Godzilla was getting outsmarted and out maneuvered during their fight until Godzilla was finally able to land a breath hit on Kong and even then it wasn't total domination until Kongs arm became dislocated then Godzilla went on all fours physically biting and scratching. That wouldn't have been possible if Kongs arm was in tact, he would've been too fast for the Gman. The power up in Godzilla's breath in my opinion is a result of losing the atomic breath beam battle between mecha and Godzilla and he lost that by miles.

Wait, Kong struggled after he got hit by the beam? From what I saw, Kong was pretty well-off after that hit, and it only really turned when he tried putting Goji in a choke-hold. After that, Godzilla adopted the more aggressive, crocodilian fighting-style and THEN dislocated Kong’s arm. If Godzilla didn’t spend 90 percent of that fight dicking around, then he would’ve won easy, and potentially have enough energy to take out MechaGoji as well. The only pressure to evolve was to be able to store more atomic energy in case he has to fight multiple opponents back-to-back, and be physically tougher if he does run out.

So Godzilla is the Mosterverse equivalent of a Saiyan. His Burning form is clearly Super Saiyan. HIs 4th evolved form is Super Saiyan Blue. His current Pink power up form is Blue Kaioken. So his form in the next movie will probably turn his dorsal plates white/sliver.
