The creator is the same maker as Terrordrome. A fighting game based on mugen engine features horror film icons such as Freddie Jason and Ash Williams. Obviously he or they could never get all licence from that so they made this game with public domain characters instead. And it was in development for quite a long while now. This might've been their first commercial release version.
