Using checkpoints for laps is one of the most deplorable things in my book, but for Lunatic mode, i give it just barely a pass since these are actually insane when it comes to brute force and sheer difficulty.

You could say I'm a traditionalist, I just want to show my skill instead of just doing the lap 5 to do the lap 5. I'm not even complaing by the way, I was talking about how it's reasonable that he's using checkpoints in the comments.

@@seal1fy 1. others might not have fun playing the same two damn laps over and over again with the P rank to get to the good part 2. what skill is there to be shown? that you can P rank the level over and over? sure, that requires some skill but not as much as beating the level on lap 5 with a checkpoint on lap 3. 3. yes, you said it was reasonable but I had a problem with the fact you think checkpoints are bad im the first place

@@alertlucasalexander9994 I don't think checkpoints are bad, my original comment was mostly satirical, but I don't think you realize how much difficulty no checkpoints adds. It does not add that much natural difficulty, but the pain that comes from having to do the level all over again if you even die once is enough to make me go insane (which I want).

If I was to use any lapping mod, I’m personally gonna be waiting for the release of the Lap 3 Remake I saw announced. No extra gimmicks. 3 laps is the perfect amount for me (Most racing games I play average 3 laps). Just you, pizzaface, and your own skill. Nothing against this mod, but Laps 4 and beyond always felt unnecessary to me, and lunatic mode… why do you torture yourself so?

...you do know that there's an option for Lap 3+ music to be played in WAR in options right? That way don't need to turn off in-game music and spend time editing it in
